A mother's day poem
Peachy Jul 2019
A Happy mother's day.
To greet you
I will not always forget
Every day of my life
I do love you
I want you to be reminded that
Instead of material things
I did this because
To buy you gifts
But I don't have any money
For you to have
I want something nice
On this special day
What I should give you
I kept on thinking
If I can sleep well
To what I should wear even
of what I should eat or
By just thinking
Full of extreme responsibilities
That being a mom is a job
Even though you already knew
By accepting me in your life
How thankful you were
But then you proved me
To have me as your child
I didn't know at first if you were thankful or not
For the past 21 years
And you are successful in taking good care of me
You carried me inside your womb for 9 months
I do love you because you love me, more than I do love you
To pay back all what you've done
Because these words aren't even enough
"Thank you"
I don't know how to say
But you've given me so much
Loving me was enough,
Mama,
A reverse poem as a gift I made for my mom.

Reverse
Peachy Jul 2019
'Coz there is none
That there's someone new
I don't love you anymore
Why would I tell you that
Let you go
Why would I
Shout around the world, who you are for me
I really wanted to
Hurt you
That's why I can't
Tell you that I love you so much
Hide these feelings, I need to
But I can't hide this anymore
I'm sorry, Love.
A trial reverse poetry. Hehehe.

Life's questions
Peachy Jul 2019
Why do life feels like a lifetime test
We keep on answering questions
We haven't encountered nor learned
From school or our home.

These questions might be easy and hard
But it is different from school's tests
In school's tests, being honest, can be cheated on
Life can't be, it is just between passing or failing.
A poem made because of struggles lol

Teacher
Peachy Jul 2019
A teacher's life is hard and rough as a rock
But then being a teacher is not about being a rock
Whose heart is as hard and rough as it is described
They are the hammer
Who will be one of the tools in building children's life
Who will knock some senses to a lost child.

The students are rocks
Who will be molded by teachers
From a rock to a diamond
Who will shine brightest among all
They will be put into pressure
But surely they will learn.

Because teachers are the ones who molds rocks using a hammer
In order for the future will have contain and have lots of diamonds.
A poem stuck on my drafts. Lol

Dying Passion
Peachy Jul 2019
As a kid I had a dream,
To become a teacher it really is.
It never wavered nor shattered
As time went by, it stayed the same.
I grew up with mind all set,
I'll be a teacher no matter what is ahead.

I pursued that dream,
With hardwork and smile
Always glued on my face.
Challenges, hindrances, struggles or trials,
Whatever you call the hard times I had,
I was happy because I'm in love with what I'm doing.

I finished the degree I wanted the most,
With happy and proud parents even not with any flying colors.
They were happy and so am I, 'cuz I'm almost there to reach my dream
Whatever happens, I know I'm almost there.

A profession I want since I was a kid
Is now slowly dying just because of someone annoying.
You kept on bossing me around
That tells me what to do and to what not.

I finished a degree related to my dream,
Why is it slowly dying?
Why am I not loving it anymore?
Why do I need to overthink about things?
Like my capability, strengths, and worth?
Is it just me or it's you who really wanted this to happen?

Tell me now before I give up,
To continue or not
Is what my mind think about
All day and all night.

It's hard to make decisions
Especially when you are tired
Emotionally, Mentally, Physically and Spiritually.

Lord, I only need a sign
That's all I need
But someone who will give an advice might help as well.
A poem made because of mixed emotions and uncontrollable mind.

Hard Times
Peachy Sep 2017
I found out that in life
You don't just pick a knife
And cut your wrist
Because life has full of twist.

You'll have hardships
But pray to the captain of the ship
He knows what to do
Just follow what he told you to so.

Glimpse of light
Peachy Sep 2017
I almost forgot how to open my eyes
I almost wasn't able to see a light
Since the day you left me with your good bye
I never stopped asking myself every night
              Why?----
Of all people it's me you chose to hurt, why?
I promised myself not to cry
I'll try and try and try
This broken heart of mine
Nearly made me blind

Words Broken
Peachy Sep 2017
Those words that almost killed me
Left my heart with deep wounds
Don't know when will it heal
Broken heart, puffy eyes
Cried till eyes worn out.

Your Smile
Peachy Sep 2017
It happened so quick
I didn't even see that coming
Was it you who planned it?
Or is it me just imagining it?
You flashed a smile
My heart run wild
Whenever you're around
I can't even utter the word "Hi"
What have you done?
Seeing your smile
Makes my mind travel a mile.

Chalk
Peachy Sep 2017
A wand that can change the future
Without any magical power
A simple swish and flick on the board
A magical sentence has been formed.

Morning, afternoon and evening, this is what we need to hold
For us to help our students to be bold
This is something that is erasable
But surely will be memorable.
A Harry Potter inspired poem and also for teachers.
