I should be overjoyed

But my life is straight chaos now
I've made some bad decisions
I'm alone and aging
(and I still can't forget her)

we cease to exist forever
no more pain:  why then fear this?

because our loved ones we true treasure
to know them nevermore. Ahhhhhhh!

I tried to be a teacher
I read about the Way

So why go on?

Try to teach that Justice

But Harmony, Hope

His true love dies
Good Harvey Dent is corrupted and destroyed
By evil Harvey Dent
The Joker says the so-called civilized
Citizens of Gotham
Are only as good as the world allows.
When the chips are down
They will cast the Batman out
Like a *****.

In this, the Joker is proved correct.

But not is his mad belief
That there is no goodness in humanity
That life is a zero sum game
Of mutual destruction.

Sometimes truth isn't good enough.
Gordon lies about Harvey Dent
Lies about the Batman

                      Faith in a lie.
   Taking the blame for killing he did not do.
         Hunted so the city can hope
