I'm tired of sitting here waiting.
For the day that I become someone.

I remember everything before the fall
How I swayed in the air
How I have seen many nights and days

I remember the sensation when I was dropped
All I could think of is how to get my way back
The fall felt like a million years but in mere
Seconds I was on the ground

Being up this high smells like rain

Seeing my lifeless corpse on the floor
Waiting to be dovoured by the board

I was given a pen to write my story.
But little did I know, I was the ink.

I wish I was told by someone

I wish I told that we fall in the end
To alleviate this pain from under
So I can become stronger in life
Just to be turned into a puddle
Now that I'm here where to begin

The wind is damaging but also feels like freedom
The rain causes floods that are wrathful
But at the same time the rain
Feels so good against my skin
With each pitter patter it reminds
With each distinct sound that follows
Big drops little drops and small drops
All contain a way to bring life to this world
So when you ask about how I feel about you
I will tell you the same answer over and over
There's nothing that will change my mind from now until its over
I know I'm not a strong communicator but give me time
Things will change and I will learn how to be better for you
Change my mindset and set me free from this world to join yours

I was looking at old pictures.
I asked myself the important question.
"Do I miss you?"
I sat and thought about it.
Scrolling through endless pictures.
I didn't feel the need to cry.
I didn't feel my heart sputter.
I didn't get the butterflies.
I didn't get anything.
I guess it finally ended.

I should have walked away from you.
I knew it was ending when you said we were drifting apart.
I could have saved myself from this hurt.
That one night I had my chance.
I should have just got up and left.
Walked until my feet bled.
Maybe then my feelings would've died for you.
Now I'm just choking my life away.

Love to me is between a rock and hard place
yea, i'm pretty sure i don't know what it is, but i give my best effort to try and explain it
love is dealing with someone else emotions
you try to understand what they're feeling
at times it may be hard, but eventually you'll understand
love to me is facing many consequences for the person that you like
people talk about love like they don't understand it
they say love in unconditional, but how can you understand
love can be of time, a place, an object, or something in the mind
love has to deal with everything, from the food that you make
to the feeling that you feel deep down inside
