In the still and quiet world, she opens
her eyes again.

She fears growing older. Even more to do.
Life gets even tougher with age
it seems.

She opens the window to see
leaves are changing, along with her.
They softly whisper, “fear not; change is what
you need.”
They gently mutter, “be not afraid;
you’ll make it through.”

The early sun on water. The brisk morning air
in her lungs.
The way that she knows it’ll be alright
somehow.

So she reaches out, seizes the day.
She realizes there’s nothing
to fear. The world’s waiting
for her and a new day is here.
So.
Thank you,
Because I remember,
A little under a year ago
when I was in love with you
And it hurt,
And made me cry,
and now,
I'm just loving you,
so.
thank you for teaching me the difference.
And everything,
Is so much better now.

Sticks and stones
May break your bones
But words can
Rip your heart out.

I fear none but see all,
My dragon comes when I call.
I control the elements upon my mind,
As they swirl within time.

I stand firm and tall,
Waving my sword in the wind.
My world is only a war,
As I fight to win.

No orders can tell me what to do,
I am a General of Skyrim.

My home is of bravery rest,
as my skills everyday,
are put to the test.

You fight for what you believe,
You die with dignity.
Honor boils in your veins,
As you try to fight free.

Freedom rings when a Warrior stands forth,
He or she shall be,
A savior to the world.

Within the World of Tamriel,
I am an Imperial Soldier,
And a Female.

Anyone can be a warrior upon strife,
Even within this war,
You can be right.

Join a side,
Choose your path.

You shall be victorious,
And will deserve a Warriors Death.

Challenge thy dragonkin now.
They will await your arrival.
Upon your dragon,
Shall become thy trial.

Tempest waves within the skies of Tamriel,
As the Dragonborn comes,
To the World of Skyrim.

A breeze dances,
catching the beast who flies.
A beast who is feared,
by man, elf and animal.

Its wings did darken the skies,
but its roar was furys fire,
and its scales sharpened scythes.

Men ran and they cowered,
and they fought and they died.
They burned and they bled,
as they issued their cries.

The cover of this beast was blown,
Men cowered and hid.
From the black wings.
They did not wish to die,
within the inferno of its jaws.

The black scales shimmered in the rising sun,
as the beast roared.
Fire escaped its jaws,
burning everything in its path.

The legends were true and fatal,
The beasts of this land,
had returned to seek revenge.

They who destroy,
They who burn.
The beasts who **** every living soul sewn.

This beast looked behind thee at its kin,
roaring in triumphant rage.
The war had begun,
everything had engaged.

Now hunting for its prey,
It only spoke now in the disarray.
"The dragons have come mortals,
We have returned."

Fire and Steel will collide,
As the dragon age begins.
Humanity will fade,
Within the Dragon and its Kin.
Fictional poetry is my style and I love dragons so i thought i would right this since I was a gamer.
I'm stuck
In my own thoughts
Should I live
Should I die
I'm trapped
I can't decide
Stuck in my own body
Scarred
from the cuts
From the fights
Stuck in my head
Confused
Twisted
I don't know
What to do anymore
**** it all?
Give up?
Or look past it?
**** this world
No save it
Stuck
Listening to my own heart beat
the blood running through my veins
Then the screams
Stuck
Seeing the blood
The hate
I'm stuck
In my own thoughts
Can't move
Can't walk
Can't talk
But it's probly for the best
Can't hurt anybody anymore
But who cares
Nobody
I'm trapped
Still stuck
**** it
Quiet
A word her peers say
not with appreciation
But with undisguised hate
They never wonder why she doesn't try to pay anyone the time of day
Slouching her shoulders dejectedly as she walks away
And so it's seen as an excuse
For the weak minded with nothing better to do
Who pick and ****, and laugh along with the bullies to seem so cool

She's delicate
She once was
pure and soft like the skin she now cuts
In attempt to numb the voices, make them shut up
If only for a little while
But a little whiles never enough
Demons screaming in the shadows of her mind
She sees herself as a ghost whispering
"I'm fine"
Repetitively, endlessly she utters this lie
Disappointed at those who believe it

She's quiet
She never utters a sound
Numb to her surroundings
She's bound
to misery
She's perfection but she'll never believe
Shoulders slumped, pulling down her sleeves
Beauty, As faint as the curve on her lips
The opinion's the blade that now picks
Out her flaws as she prods onto her reflection
The voices overpowering her mind
She's fine
But her weary eyes betray the lie
Her lips can no longer make true

She's broken
Shattered pieces of her lay on the floor
Reflecting just how insecure
She's become
She's far past numb
Inside she's dead
And in the shards of glass scattered on the bed
Is the faint trace of smile

What to do for I have no words?
I sit staring down into
oblivion.
Will I ever be able to
break th emental barrier to
which restrains me like an animal
in captivity?
Or shall I forever remain
in a world of dullness.

What to do for I have no words?
An urge inside tempts me to
begin my journey.
Yet with every choice, there is
a consequence-
With every move, there is
a mistake.
Maybe my time of deliverance
has not come.
Or maybe the constant bickering
of the world has brought
me to an endless introduction.

What to do for I have no words?
The barrier begins to deterrioate.
Allowing past experiences-
dreams-
memories.
Flowing like silk in the wind
without ever wanting to cease.
All arranging themselves in such
a manner that is too complex
to decipher.

What to do for I have found the words?
The answer to my prayers.
The satisfaction to which
I have been yearning.
But how does this quest begin?
I must put my pride aside
and just do it already.
So I start:
"Hi! My name is D'Onte!"
This poem was inspired by the difficulty it takes to even begin a life-changing quest. To take that first step towards happiness. To write those first words.
