Everything has a soul
Can fly and set sail, find its own
Wings- paper planes, plastic bags, and school skirts
Carried by the wind, dampened by fears

It is in our eyes full of tears
That they find meaning and purpose
In their flight that won't go on for years
God keeps us on our toes safe from our foes
When we help someone else, we come closest to being our best selves. I think we can be our best version of ourselves if we keep trying. But, it is an endless cycle and people might stop you. You need trudge on.
Cradled in my arms
Curls falling in the sleeping streets
Of my legs
I have fallen for your charms
An eye-opening poem for me. This year has been difficult for us.
Let the sun embrace the heart's darkness
As the cars move past the journey of your life
You hear every bump of the road and feel every turn
As the light shines through

When the Sun shows up
Its light drives straight to my heart
And twists and turns of life
Will never drive us apart
A poem done in collaboration. I have met many talented artists on this platform. And I will keep writing poems for my readers. Do follow if you enjoy my writings. As it motivates me to write more and more.
Take a subject
And make it human
And the concept is accessible to the public
That is wisdom
Press your ears against her
Heart
And tell the world she was beautiful
With yours
Note for the day: Be kind to your future lovers.
It is frightening
So, I say don't give in to the inner critic
Spend it praying tomorrow

Love can be beautiful
Accept it
The heart needs direction

The heart is foolish
It just loves
Give it a brain to rely on

What once made up the moments
That brought us so much joy
Become a blur
And no one is to blame for that

Just accept you were wrong
A poet's essay on love.
I want to read a book
With you, with my head
On your lap under your hair
Made of dreams and desire

With scents and fiery warmth
Resting in eyes of cool oceans
Watching the sunrise in those pages
Made from your features possessed
Her flesh is the summer rain
Warm, yet unexpected
She is naked but rare
