From the moment we met
I didn't have to fake it
Everything felt right yet
A piece or two didn't fit

Hoping to hear from you soon
I told you how to get in touch with me
Your call sent me to the moon
Soon we'll know if we are meant to be

For two weeks everything was cool
Talks, movies, and music we did
Shot a couple games of pool
Friends start making bids

One night we had too much to drink
Words exchanged to let feelings out
Can't take it back, we just didnt think
Hearts broken we begin to pout

Nothing more to say that night
Upset and unsure to bed we go
Waking up we begin to fight
Broking up to become your foe
This poem is about a whirlwind relationship that was just as fast as it was unhealthy.

The Comfortable I Used To Feel

Hello. Call me.
Why?
Are your alright?
Kept from you. Protected.
I didn't know.
Doesn't matter. What's up?
Drama. Moving. Changes.
Sounds awesome.
Why?
Nothing left here.
I miss the comfortable I used to feel.
I miss it too.
Shine wore off. I guess.
No, we were invaded.
Pills piled in a spoon.
Wish it wasn't real.
Only once a month.
Watching obituaries.
Don't freak, I'm just dramatic.
I get you. You get me. Even in silence.
Not awkward or weird.
The comfortable I used to feel
