Love marriage
Mohd Arshad Apr 2014
Love marriage is not a delicious thing
Sometimes It is a little bit more salty
And more pungent than is required
To be easily galloped

The couple are not contented with the stuff
For both had told their own earlier
Then it was beautiful snow fallng in the moonlight
And the romantic raindrops kissing the blossoms

Now it is hackneyd or cliche
Or a haggard leaf crawling not to be liked

Here ushers in pain that is suppressed
And peevish get their nature and
Both lose their cool so soon
And It happens daily till they bid adieu to each
Or one of them kicks ths bucket

Mohd Arshad Jan 2016
I have a God
Like yours
And he is one!

I have a sky
Like your earth
And with you I live!

I will sleep on dust
And you will come next
And others will follow!

At his court,
When all meet,
Poetic justice at its best!

Mohd Arshad Nov 2014
O passion, soul of dream,
A fly of wings I call thee,
And flow of in-swing stream!

O passion, light of the sky,
How much bright, O light,
Shine, shine, sloth will die!

O passion, take thy flight
And take my dreams high,
My ***** pines for such blithe!

On A Broken Stone
Mohd Arshad Jul 2014
on a broken stone
sat the poet, guessing
the words on them.

He couldn't do;
his wisdom cursed him.

one of the them
rose upto hid face,
and said swinging,

"you failed.
your mind is a fiasco
for imagination is greater
than the power of understanding.

Giving is the replica
Of the heavens' blessings!
The candle burns
For light for others!
We always water trees
As they provide us with fruits!
Giving and receiving
Are complementary,
And so giving
And being thankful!
My teacher, my gratitude
To hold my thread
In the rough wind
And when it was not anywhere!
My teacher, my gratitude
To keep thy halo on my head
When I was alone on the road
And the sunshine was sleeping!
My teacher, my gratitude
To plant goodness within me
And give it sweet odour
That will spread for everyone!

The mango tree cried
Mohd Arshad Sep 2016
Cried aloud, the mango tree.
Don't ****** them way from me
They are too little, too little
They too little, oh, too little
The sparrow, uneasily perched
On its empty lap, had its say
I am not the their nor predator
They are gone, they too are gone
Dear, I do know devil is aloof
But God is watching, the just justice
He made me and blessed me
With sweetness for them, for all
Why do they make  greedy advances?
can't they wait and have patience?
It hurts a lot when a crab is scratched
Wound should be let to heal at full
The bird consoled it, whispering
Be calm, my dear, you will smile again

Man can't ever sleep soundly anywhere
On beds forcibly taken off from the humble

A. Ashu.. Palms first part
Mohd Arshad Aug 2018
Palms are unbreakable cups, lithe and elastic,
And safe out of the shelves of spray-on-jeans.

Always, you pose them before the blue kettle,
And little drops in dribs and drabs, no satiation.

Fancy he in rags reaches your doorsteps, hoping
To hydrate his withered tongue from them anon.

You pelt one of them at him like the tethered ball;
for him it's a knife; he damns you and draws back.

They're the speaking toys for the child for its tears,
And they clank when he gropes for them at your "no".

Skylark
Mohd Arshad Aug 2014
what a skyblue skylark!
submerging in soft white,
plays upon the violin
and sings his heart, so young!
my weariness flies away
like the smoke in the breeze,
and senses dance like
flowers in the drizzles.
who hears the melody
of such a sweet singer!
his songs are much delight
and flight from pain to joys.

I Am Crow
Mohd Arshad Feb 2014
I am the bird, but crow.
Blessed with black, i know.

I belong to the pageant of birds
Which are called by many words.

I do sing my own lay;
I also welcome the day.

I fly; i rejoice in the breeze.
I play; i leap in the trees.

I take delight in spring.
I like snow, falling.

Alas! I am not hailed at the door.
They shoo me away to soar.

I am cursed; i am much hated,
For i am black, so ill-fated.

Behold!
On biers sleep
the ****** winter
And in ashes burn the ubiquitous chill
And the snow that had blocked life
Hark! All hark!
Thier sports play the bees
And rhymes the buzz everywhere
The balmy breeze sings
Caressing the leaves
in full bloom and flowers
On their wings are the pittas
To welcome the new weather
In the yard hang the hazy days
And at the door summer knocks

He was robbed in black,
the curse of satan,
the shadow of a gheastly spirit,
the villain of birds' tales,
the melancholy tiddy to be forgotten,
the tragic scene in the street,
the rubbles of houses.
Ted brought him forth, out of prison,
wove his life in words,
a charismatic character,
a souvenir, a holy chapter,
and he got immortality stuff.

Kindness
Mohd Arshad Feb 2014
My days were suffused with miseries,
For my heart was devoid of kindness.

I have never thought of its birth wifhin me,
For hatred was blooming, not thorns-free.

Once I was under my warm quill.
A voice said to me without much shrill.

"Cling to me and grow me in your garden.
I will bear happiness, not grief-stricken.

I am virtue; I came from His divine treasury.
Who takes care of me need not worry.

He will build a place in His heaven,
And i will take you there one by one."

It is our only mortal dress

They Killed Tigers
Mohd Arshad Aug 2014
In the moonlit-park,
I caught snow, falling.

It melted away within my palm;
I feel its freezing moments.

I hit a young butterfly,
flying over my delicious cake.

my kid crushed it down,
and tears touched my cheeks.

I snared a sparrow on the roof;
It passed away in the cage.

we buried it at the door,
and I cry to see its grave.

they **** tigers and their springs.
no regret, no cry, no tear!

is the modern heart a hard stone
or they have thrown away humanity?
Mohd Arshad May 2016
In a sallow field,
Leaves wearing shorts,
Splash in a tiny stream,
Water sleeping in its bed,
Gravels full of sheen,
And peeping out,
Heat upticking,
With the sun in its elements,
He, aloof from his family,
And contracted with dryness,
Desirous of guzzling,
Drew back his gaping mouth,
And stood for  a while,
As the herd of dear
Came and ended up drinking,
And he, watching like a Shepherd,
Waited and waited
Till they drank enough
And left very little
And he, glad to get his turn,
Glistened his throat
And raced towards his house,
Neighing like a jovial lamb!

Religion isn't my skin, caste,

I grow with branches,
Exhaling in the air,

Inhaling.

You too blow in it.

In your sky, I sparkle;
In the pond I don't sprout.

My minarets are massive,
Historical,

I recite the national song
In the file of every citizen.

Lynching cannot divest me
Of my last bed in its land.

How softly and slowly snow slides
on the massive mushroom mountains!

Have you seen?
How big beautiful balloons
beautify the splendid scene in the air!

Have you seen?

Have you seen?
How purple parrots prune pink apples
dangling from the drab and dusty boughs!

if not,
have a glipmse of me!
I am there to satisfy your senses!
