i just want you know
that you are beautiful
and i love you
more than the sun
could ever love the moon.

i know these are just a few
fragile words,
but you deserve to hear them.
i know we go through
times of obscureness
and insecurities,
and times when it feels
like we are

but please,
do not let these words escape from
your beautiful mind:
that you are strong, delightful, and lovely
as could be;
for it hurts me to see
you lose that very thought.

thank you for sharing such beautiful
(both of happiness and of heartache)
memories with me.
i know there will come a time
when we must leave each other
to achieve and meet our dreams,
but please don't forget me,
because i promise
to keep you in my heart
until the end of time.
thank you,
for inspiring me
and sharing such
unforgettable moments with me.
love,
me.
for my beautiful best friend.

like the ocean waves crashing
against the side of a mountain,
like the millions of raindrops
kissing the ground,
like the strong wind
making the trees dance to life,

this is how passionately i loved you

but how equally passionately
you just pushed my love away.
Ah, where to begin, take it from the crown,
And roll down the usual bump of your bouncy hairsanality,
Teasing your cerebrum with every spin,
Then quietly continue along your slender necking with a whisper,

To gently land on the heavy shouldering of your broad world,
Resting a moment to tickle loose those knots of compassion,
Move onward carefully, tiptoe to your pendant earlobes,
Grown wise from listening freely, flirting for a subtle nibble.

Lets swing over to perch on the bow of your maple cheeks,
Held up by the strength of your Ernest smile,
A spring of rose petals on a landscape of pure snow,
Alas, how the rose must envy the radiant hue of your lips,

Now, leap off to the cushion of your ample *****,
Perfect for nourishing presents of unique creation,
The pounding of your heart, speaks through, ba-dum ba-dum
Half the necessary beat to a lifelong dance, till death.

Next, a slide down the concave curves, slim fitting to your flawless figure,
To carriage at your slender swinging hips,
The favorite resting place of your healing hands,
Supporting the vertebrae that keeps strong your secure dorsal,

Start at the bottom and slowly shiver up the spine,
Only to shake back down with a relieved sigh, past the seeds of life,
And massage down sturdy legs carrying you through strife,
Come to a rest on the tip of your twinkle toes,
Those shine at the end of your lily starfeet.

With hopes that they’re moving to a compass where I mimic north,
And those bright almond eyes cast their gaze through the pane,
Your visage, making the difference between my dawn and dusk.

The sky extends a chilled hand to the hand of grey.
Even though it's May.
Just like my outlook, though it's not shocking.
And the hand of time is ticking and tocking
The pendulum is approaching.
Moving from left to right in vicious carelessness.
The thought of it is revolting.
And I can't get my mind out of this.
That every day gets closer to the day you leave.
And I'm not ready.
I haven't said that I love you enough,
Nor have I kissed your chap stick covered lips that much,
(Darling, chap stick is your vice)
And we haven't yet experienced life.
And I'm aching and breaking and sobbing at night,
Because the darkness creeps in and hides away light,
And the grey skies remind me of the grey sea,
Where you'll be shipping away from me,
And I know this is lame, and I know it's strange
But its been some time since our hearts have exchanged,
And we've been joined together for far to long
To pretend that this feeling doesn't feel wrong,
And I'm terrified of losing you every day,
And I know it's too late to convince you to stay,
Because you've signed the papers that anchor you to sea,
And soon you'll be packing your bags to leave.
I don't want to sit around and wait for you,
But I love you so much and I don't know what to do.
[part 1 - The Depending of Rescue]

I've waited so long for you
to take me to the place where light came through
all this time I thought you would save me
But together we were stuck in this dark sea

Myself so lost in this tearing tide
only to find, I was not alone inside
fighting the waves to get free
growing powers grew deep down in me

[part 2 - Becoming Atlas]

Im out into the sky beyond the stars
looking down at the land so far
lost souls still trapped behind
I came back for you, I have to find

Spend my life searching and saving
to stop my heart from this painful raging
help those stand on the land I have found
your still lost in the black, quiet is the sound

I see your eyes, so bright as the brightest night star
Drifting away from my hand, floating so far
Ive spent my life so long to bring you to shore
I cannot stop its what I'm existing for

[part 3 - The Distraction]

In search for you I have saved so much
millions have felt my graceful touch
they plead for me to guide them away
So many I lead to see a new day

Shining light over their homes
making them feel the warmth in their souls
Starting a future that they can live in
But with all my power, I cannot find where you've been

bound by duties you slip away from me
away from view, and deeper into the sea
The older I grow the more of you I miss
but all these feelings I am forced to dismiss

[Part 4 - Atlas Relinquished]

Strength has raged within in my blood
my veins are dried while my emotions flood
away from my heart into the night
tired by the constant shine of light

Broken labored hands are laid to rest
after long years of might's test
exasperation falls over my will
want nothing more to forever be still

I can no longer help to build
I lay slowly upon the field
body and soul unable to lift
watching the world, still, it sits

as I lay in the dark
I remember how it used to be
the sweet childhood
and all those innocent dreams

I think of the days
that I once enjoyed
and of how different
it all seems to be

where did I go wrong
what misery did I entice
to wreck my mind
and ruin my life

the night drags on
and I still cannot sleep
for I am stuck in the past
the place I want to be

She turns around in her seat
To see him sitting quietly,
A low hum rests in the class
As students pretend to do their work,

She takes a breath to say something
And he glances up,
Shyness overwhelms her
And she turns back to her work

The boy says nothing
And goes back to his
The girl bites her lip
Nervous, unable to focus,

She turns abruptly and speaks
The boy looks up in shock
A smile tugs at the corner of his mouth
A new friendship has started,

She soon learns
The boy is bullied
For his worn cloths
Yet she does not mind this,

In the halls after school
The boy sits against his locker,
The girl approaches him
Noticing his black eye,

An outstretched hand
Was all he needed from her
To smile again
And she did just that,

Their friendship grew
And blossomed into love
But he had another detail
One she did not know yet,

At his mother's grave
He speaks to her
Explaining the subtle scars
Her eyes water in sadness,

How could a father
Be so cure to his own son?
To hit him repeatedly
Until his skin broke,

This had to stop
He had to be freed
From the horrors of home
But he won't let her,

He said his dad would **** him
If he saw any legal authorities
She bows her head
Wishing, praying for his safety

On a cold night a siren awakes her,
Sitting up in bed she watches
To see the way
The emergency response vehicle goes,

Her heart stops,
She knows the path it took all too well,
Climbing out her window
And grabbing her bike

She starts after it
Her eyes stinging from the night air
She arrives to see
It was his father's new girlfriend

Who had made the call
To put an end to things
But it was too late
She hadn't reached the phone in time

The girl runs inside,
Past the medics,
To see his body at rest
On the floor still bleeding

She falls beside him
And cries out his name,
If only he would answer
Everything would be alright,

Holding his hand tight
She whispers her apology to him,
Sorry she never did anything
Sorry she didn't save him,

The father thrown in jail
The boy buried six feet down,
The girl stands at his stone
Vowing her heart will never love another

She places a single rose
On the cool gray stone
And turns to walk back to the road
Her head hangs low, eyes fixed on the ground

She never saw the car that hit her
She never heard it
All she knew was it was over and done
And she was in his arms once again.
