My greatest
fear is that
eventually
I'll only
be a hollow shell

After over
exposure
through these
words

And cursed
to conjure
deep mysteries
while searching
for a place
in this
world
Michael Blonski May 2016
The clouds in
the sky
are talented contortionists

Vital beauty
to rival
the most talented goddess

My lungs eat
a meal
of purity and exhale clarity

My eyes ease
at the
sights of great complexity

I'm free to discover
the language
of the wind

Witness the birth
of
new generations

Don't think.
Write.
From your
subconscious mind

Let what you hold inside
take control

Guiding your
fingertips to
the keys
or
the ink
from a pen

Write as it
happened

Don't water
it down
It would be like
signing
without making a
sound
Michael Blonski May 2016
Dandelions seeds
float with the breeze
travel to far off adventures
to grounds where they fall

Only to be treated
as unwelcome pest
where other flowers
are allowed
to bloom
and grow tall

Yellow pedals
only desire to stare
at the sky

As they're plucked
out of the ground
where
they reside

Some will say that
they're just a ****
but there's beauty
and grace
in drifting seeds

These masters of poetry
flood my mind
with rhymes
and pure
unaltered thought

truth
honesty
brutally at times
these master poets
dominate my mind

Changing who I am
what I see
in a small number of lines
When master poets words
take control of my mind
