Have I lost my passion

I'm not sure I have an answer
but it just doesn't feel the same
I needed more control of my world
sometimes my actions were just a shame

but it seems my heart is attached
to feel love and to feel pain
now seems just going thru the motions
very little sun and not even any rain

I'm not sure what I now feel
seems I'm somewhere in between
I try reaching a little now and then
but encouragement isn't seen

this feels so different so weird
this was the thought then she touched me
the words so filled me and I knew
the passion was just waiting to be free

I was left with a jump in my step
my heart pounding a quickened beat
I felt her in my arms once again
felt her parting kiss so dam sweet

I seem to have regained regrouped
I can feel the blood flowing with a cause
she is my passion that had drifted some
now I am no longer feeling pause

Conflict

it is said
to be free
freedom of choice
is necessary
but
by choosing
we create
inner conflict
so maybe
true freedom
is
not to choose

Things are better doesn't mean I'm right
Changed my ways others won't let me forget those bad
Focused on today not looking back at tbe past
I respect others decisions don't judge me for mine
Quit drinking not giving life to demons and guilt
Can't wait for it I need to go out there take control
All my time effort everything I worked hard for
I know it sounds greedy but I want more
Bad knee but working through the pain
Get back on the mat a formal place I called home
Set out to be the best not pursing less

I want freedom tired of feeling obligated
Trying to make nothing into something
Love yourself before giving your heart away
Been with crazy the bs don't phase me
Tired of being an average joe
Feels like I'm not doing enough
Be a better man not falling back into bad habits
Escape be free be who you're destine to be
Figure out how to be better overcome the setback
Set life straight live without hate
Influence yourself not by others decietful ways
Hoping to get this if not get in and bail out

methinks thou confuseth
thy heart's impatient beating
with the tremulous and sonorous
summation of the immeasurable
wail of clocks ticking, begging,
listen!

these wondrous matches glorious
arranged in heaven,
where weighty watches
and yellowed human calendars
long ago dismissed, irrelevant,
discarded.

marked full well,
they did
upon thy heart,
when as babe
you drew first breath.
when thou will receive
love's bounty,
nothing more and nothing
less.

heavenly their watchfulness eternal,
impatience does not grant favour
to love long lasting,
ever true,
even if struck anew
with first impatient glance,
for much thought and endeavor,
masterfully planned,
thy turn scheduled,
recorded, awaiting only
for inevitable
discovery.

for though the streams of spring
rush full fleshed,
swollen forward,
thy truest love is
best read in the
gentle constance of
a gentle lake's
modest waves lapping,
like a beloved's
best ring finger
stroking thy cheek
in one continuous
caressing.

need not thou lament,
nor groan
with impatient travail,
fare thee well,
for the sails,
the course inexorable,
the destination prescribed,
foretold and heralded
upon the flags of thy eyes,
the banner of thy words,
that rest prepared upon
thy fullest and hungry
lips.

chance is but a
secondary miscreant,
whose role is but as narrator.

let's him speak infrequent,
but when comes his time
to conduct his sale,
well behooves you to
listen to that littlest of voices
you so oft disregard,
victim of your willful
fears!

the time, the play, the locale
all matched and set,
now we await only
your demonstration and forbearance
to honest augur the
greatest courage
to speak the hardest phrase
e're spoke:

I love thee more than myself.

for whence
can only be,
when thou breakbeat
the chains accursedly nominated as
Me First.

shout the key out loud
In the hour, nay, the instance,
thy first believe,
then long life and long love
can then
and
only then
commence.
This always happens when I hear Shakespeare. Good news is football is but 90 minutes away,
and my sanity foregone and my poetry tablet full, the only words yet unspoken will be
yes! or goddamit.

I will
I will
I will
I promise you

I won't
I won't
I won't
Give out on you

I have
I have
I have
My best intent for you

I give*
I give
I give
My whole heart to you

I live
I live
I live
So we both can see

The two
The two
The two
Of us in which I believe

I am
I am
I am
What you expect from me

I can
I can
I can
*Give you the love you need

Good Morning Kisses

I wake up in the morning
I can see her lying in her bed
the beauty of an angel
in her slumber
I know how lucky I am
to have her as a part of my life
then I see her open her eyes
and smile that smile
that makes this world a better place
she opens her arms
she opens her heart
and I melt
waiting anticipating wanting
her good morning kisses

New/Knew/Rebuilding
You

4:18AM

not sure where to start,
so I will begin at the end,
rinsing and repeating,
till it makes a dime's worth of sense,
even if helps for just one minute,
I'll take it happy for
giving you one minute of better,
rinse and repeat,
60times, an hour to which we can only but
try
to build a single day.

You are new to me.

But I knew you a long time.

Don't ask silly whys or how's.

This won't take long.
Less than a minute.

Saw a few Picasso's, Chagall yesterday.
Even a Basquiat.
Estimated to sell for
$15~18 million dollars.

You know he once said,
"I thought I was going to be a *** for the rest of my life."

So here is my art for you, girl,
Whom I will likely never meet,
But is deep inside of me,
Unmasking provoking, couching, courting,
Crouching, springing
me to care.

If one new/knew/rebuilder of you
Is writing words of caring, artful encouragement
At 4:18am,
What is that worth?
I'll tell you cause I won't let
bitter answer for you.
Everything.
So **** art.
But open heart to the art of
Accepting that I just wrote you a poem,
Message on point,
I care.
Your name is hidden within this poem, so our secret open but private.  Accept this please and if but for a minute, tell me you are smiling, or I will never write another poem here. For if I cannot bring to you what I want to,  60 seconds of solace, comfort, than my utility is zero.

I have had this by my side
Since my days of youth
A very valuable priceless gem
I'd like to share with you

It's not made of silver
Copper or shiny bronze
But of the purest gold
You yourself can pass along

It doesn't really matter
What your race or creed
Or even to what god
It is you bend your knee

If it is we all did this
We would change the face
Of the world we live in
The entire human race

Words spoken by Jesus
That hit the vain of truth
No need to be a Christian though
For it to speak to you

For lack of a better name
It is called the golden rule
"Do unto others as you
would have them do to you"

I know that it sounds simple
And yet it's so profound
That this little gem of gold
Could turn the world around

Like I said before
I've held this since my youth
It was given to me to give back freely
As I pass it on to you
