From Infinity Word Comes
Megan Sherman Feb 2018
From infinity word comes, immortal form, in which,
All that is true and good has been found their,
Radiant light came to touch all hearts,
To warm us with wise beauty rich.

Gestate bright stars - truth - bursting with might,
Which scatter sparks through dormant minds,
In which creation unfold apace,
Truth in which free mind take flight.

I speak of Buddha, eastern sage,
Neath idol skin, words speak beyond age,
Through whence the cosmic passion rage.

Happy were he, content that,
Minds worlds evolve in a state of flux,
Illusion of order retired to mind's attic box.
Megan Sherman Feb 2018
A passion rare and ever sweet
Hurled me on bruised and broken feet
To Love's new zenith, by Angels fathomed first
Not oceans pure and rare could quench the thirst
Regaled by beatitudes as thine
Heal divine wounds of spirit's brine
Borne aloft burnished by colours of desire
Sight of which set my soul on fire
To heights of heaven all hearts do aspire
Singing mantras to ancient lyre
Cross stars we waltz like outlaw cats
With wanton wit authority thwart
In future years bereft of chains
Bereft of sad and melancholy refrains
I see them crawl, free, take flight
Bask in Love, eternal delight
Beat demons crept with stealth at night
Upon you with blades, half-hid 'neath devil's sheath
With vision suffice to ignite
A poet's heart to soar, take flight
It was "for Love!" the poet's cried
As passion in them flourished wide
Rare as care and ever sweet
Worlds with love and light replete

Ace Of Night
Megan Sherman Feb 2019
Subtle was that darling moon,
Crept like sunrise out of day,
As night swelled with resplendent tune,
As, sultry, sunlight snuck away,
As gold fled the horizon,
Usurped by obsidian black,
Moonlight rising, ever rise,
The Ace to sunlight's Jack.

War superceded by fraternal love
War degenerate pursuit
The little flame inside our hearts
To brutality takes the boot

This world - beget by conflict
Where power runs amok
Its latitudes can yet be redeemed
By solidarity power mocks

The hopes of masses differ
Since our souls basically pure
To perpetual hell the tyrants offer
United we can put an end to war

Rage the fury blaze
Megan Sherman May 2017
I hear you, Child, your bald cry,
To beg me not to walk on by,
But breathe upon your dewy skin,
And touch the sacred space within,
Don't ache, Child, be at Peace,
In you the Love of life apace.

I feel you Child, warm and sure,
Irresistable to adore,
You gave me purpose and gave me light,
Wherein the Kingdom of my eternal delight,
In Love, doth rage the fury blaze,
Our Heart's accustomed to the rays.

She begets warmth like a supernova blazing
In eternal dalliance with the other stars
Upon her Beauty I am enchanted, gazing
To her I beget these tender, loving bars
She has the embracing spirit of a diligent mother
Who cares for all of God's creatures
Subscribing to the gospel of Love
She is the most gifted of its preachers
She is exquisitely funny and an excellent friend
Who always has my back
In her hands my heart is on the mend
It was lost for a while, alack!
O I love to love and laugh with Marie
She is a creature of Love and amity

After body's expiration, a transfiguration comes -
Its Energy never destroyed, like suns -
The yesterday of life concedes
To an eternity which sage's heed

The cosmos, majestic, grand revolves
The total sum of energy
From Earth, to stratosphere, beyond
Infuses space
Surely a contentment for the human race

Death is the hour of transformation
Our souls body outlive
Turn to ascend the stair becomes
Vindication for who believes

Waltz With John
Megan Sherman Apr 2018
I wallowed deep in the depths of the stars
Fathomed long the glorious magic of all creation
And scribed it in these whimsical bars
To convey my incessant delight, mind’s elation
To have witnessed the cosmic path
Walked softly to that golden grove
Peace in destruction’s aftermath
John Angel rides in on his chariot of Love
Spells Peace in stars cross all of time
Decorated worlds with art of heart
With Beauty of irrepressible shine
And Truth strike hard like magic dart
Stupefied in awe I climbed his wings
And zoomed to stratospheres of heaven, God
The rainbows, omens of the Angel’s love
Their bonny music I in glee applaud
Fly on lightbeams to the start of time
Milky ocean meditates sublime
No dull reason suppress glorious rhyme
Have no fear, we are all one God divine

Apparitions
Megan Sherman Feb 2017
To my mind appears strange and devilish apparitions
Phantoms of sight and touch and sound
Adding to the weight of my fear and contrition
Reverberating in ghostly philharmonics all around
Sometimes they sing, rejoice exultant
Bearing aloft the awesome truth
At times their manners are errant, truant
And they squash me with cold, judgmental hoof
At times they push me to the brink of tears
At times I'm dancing with joy in the street
They are the source of my pain and fears
But the source of my dreams so sweet
O voices, are you evil or kind
Do you reflect duality of my mind
Megan Sherman Feb 2017
Now thou hast give me the knowledge of my path
Stoke my fledgling soul to embark
On whimsy's quest, in aftermath
Of Soul's debauchery, its grubby mark
Sullies the cave of my spirit's treasures
Whose resplendent joys therein I seek
A burgeoning bounty of no measure
A kingdom and paradise for spirits meek
Tell me the direction of my Heart's bliss
Keep thy flame close next to mine
So my vision be touched by its lights kiss
That help me walk, traverse fate's line
O cosmic joke, you have revealed
A fate to me which do appeal

Untethered from the Errors

Touched only once by gilded dart
Twins aligned on path of heart
Orbit in heavenly romance
Enamoured of that joyful dance

Entering the sanctuary of you
A burning fire, through me blew
Cascading bright in brazen sparks
I come alive, and leave the dark

To be a poet, is my bliss
To see the sunshine as a kiss
To know no other joy as this
When magic strikes, it cannot miss
Megan Sherman Aug 2017
O Love - spirit of the heart
Doth gift of gorgeous grace impart
Adorned with wings burnished bright
On which all souls swoon, take flight
Goddess true in mind embed
A fulsome flame of luscious red
Her clarion call to care implores
Irresistible to adore

Harking on divine at harp
Seducing souls out of the dark
Showers with sparkles the famished soul
Disconnect from the one and all
Reunites with divinity
With her wandering entreaty
To Aphrodite I forever be
Filled with charity and amity

Dare not fool her beauty forfend
Towards brighter day enchanted I wend
I'm ferried to her glowing cloud
Enamour of its divine shroud
By prophets, Saints, lovers adored
Immortalised in metaphors
Which render her beauty in devotional mantras
Prithee, Aphrodite, tell me of thy tantras
Thou bewitch, entice and snare
In you the light of love appear

Burnished bright in aura fair
Dandy goddess thou art debonair
In your peace I want to share
Ferry me away up there
Thy marbles and monuments beauty do not decay
Carving, sculpting beauty in to the day,
Hearts brine dies and goes away
When we walk wild frontiers on loves enchanted way
Stature which compels to kiss
Seduces devotees of bliss

Be my babe forever inspiring
For to thine beauty I am forever aspiring
From tyrants kingdom interdicted
But he for not knowing truth of thine heart is blighted
Beauty suffice to inspire psalms
Psalms giving like monks give alms
Take me babe in thy palms
I would leisure thee with drams
Be forever borne aloft
Testament to divine craft

In to tortured mind you drift
Bearing light, a divine shaft
That kindles flame of love in mind
That stokes love for kindred kind
Thou art temptress in to golden grove
A love on which the spirit rove
I would adorn thee in garlands
Jewels and a diadem

You are the ace of hearts
Striking mine like magic dart
Atop an aura, divine set pearl
Invites me to peer, enchanting girl
Eyes fluttering and beckoning
Invites me to peer magic, enchanting
A vivid array of colour
In her enchanting aura
Swept up in her hurricane
That rolls and waves across the plane

From one reality to another
Released form spirits tether
On shores of heaven we frolic play
Soothing quelling fear dismay
Touching rainbows dancing on the moon
With her always an epic rune
I sway enamoured of her tune
For her I'd traverse fifty dunes
And forego many a mirage
And torturous illusion, image

To finally fathom her resplendent truth
A kind of beauty rare forsooth

Peace is the thing with petals,
That grows upon a field,
At noon, a sight on which to swoon,
Disarmors cynic's shield.

And most beauteous in sight beheld,
And bliss must be its name,
That marks the soul indelibly,
And gives it a golden frame.

I've held it in between my thumbs,
And braided it in hair,
There'll be garlands of Peace at my graveside,

Megan Sherman Feb 2017
We are born with the flame of divinity
Embedded in the depths of our Soul
Its truth is unassailable and indelible
In it consists the awe of one and all
But the world is the grand consumer ruse
Which alloys us to false ideas
In which the deception gestates
And seductively appears
Luring us away from our true Heart's bliss
Towards a wayward, wicked path
We're nevertheless touched by apparition's kiss
Which heals us in the aftermath
Back to life, the flame is fanned
    By caring, thoughtful, loving hand

But despite the heart's mortality

Fluttering beside the light
Hearts waltz across this cosmic scene
Forever suspended on a beam

I lived for Justice - but in vain
For she had been vanquished
By the defenders of the Satanic realm
Who banish us to anguish

In to their malevolent schemes
They dampen the souls fire
And suffocate our dreams

And so I implore God's children
In missives to their souls
To rebel against the cynics

Suppress its songs and crush its abade
Actions in which hell is made
Hell's hills trees, can't stand the stench

Hate, by contrast, infintessimal
Triumphant, the light of love apace

All of us but you are bad
When it's you who dwells in the bars of the mind
That are vain, pathetic, sad
I threw my heart at you in joy
You threw it away in disgust
Of the nature of your esteem for me

It's sad to know, as I go
That this was a mirage
Back I go, to and fro
Around the spirit's cage

Leaving the sanctuary of you,
My heart turns cold from red to blue,
Through my heart a warm breeze blew,
For having seen a soul so true,
But then you sauntered out of view,
And your departure my soul rues,
Leaving the sanctuary of you,
My heart turns cold, from red to blue,

And now I have to start anew,
Bereft of Love's iridescent hue,
But I still search it's all that's true,
You cry slander, well you can sue,
I'm entitled to feel, my spirit brews,
So treat it like it's gossip, news,
Whilst I'm STUCK trying to start anew,
Bereft of Love's iridescent hue,

I lust for you and sing the blues,
I don't know why, you were a ruse,
You've broken me and blown my fuse,
I loved for you but you pay no dues,
I plump my rear on passion's pews,
So judge me, size me up, accuse,
I lust for you and sing the blues,
But I don't know why, you were a ruse,

I guess you've never taken cues,
From Love you just like to amuse,
Yourself with me, but I am contused,
For clumsy touch, you left me bruised,
Towards your spirit I had cruised,
In vain, you cried, wanting to see me lose,
You love to disabuse,
Because you're cynical as ****,
Well you can sue.

Committed to its sacred ring,
For Love is life and life devotion,

Who can guide us with their wise action
In the forests of the spirit she silently dwells
In a quantum of solace, a magic bubble
There her passion swells and wells
