Then Why Do You Preach
Me Jan 2021
A young girl playing
recklessly
in the fire
orange lashes curl
unburned
while everything stands
to her aid

Liquid Knowledge
Me Jan 2021
A silver stream of knowledge
in the cold winter air
surrounds you
holds
to ask you
for permission;
this is not a dream
I love snow.

Ready
Me Jan 2021
A curvy figure rises breaks
through the water surface shakes off
all limitations
her hand still remembers the touch
of the sandy ground
under water
a promise
the wind whirls around her body
curls
her fingers in apprehension:
She is ready
Can you see it?

New Days
Me Jan 2021
a fish flies
through the night air
hardly remembering
he was not born
a bird

a word swims
through the ocean
almost remembering
its destination

a grim old man
feels his heart turn soft
and decides to go
with it for once

Crystal
Me Jan 2021
You walk in front of me, your footsteps soundless but steady and safe, your pearly skin that so amuses me glowing in the dark.
I follow this glow, always, gathering the silvery snowflakes
falling out of your hair at times.
You gather yourself around me if needed, if you want me to keep
my eyes open despite all the arrows and daggers. You do not seem
to mind, feel it yes, but to mind -
You just look at me silently, cracking the tiniest smile as if saying
I do this all the time and you know it.
And I know it.

Before You Knew It
Me Jan 2021
A sea of tears, and
who says
they were there
always, who says
no being shed them -
a sea of tears
cried from
living eyes
Don't be so cruel, always.

Try
Me Jan 2021
Try
a pair of purple eyes shines
intimidating
through your layers of night -
a wish you remember
which just does not leave you alone
Where this comes from, I do not know.

Prospect
Me Jan 2021
A dream of the moon
full
reflected on the night-blue
wide ocean -
and a bit of fear
still left there,
too
Do you dream of water?

Of Earth and Stars
Me Jan 2021
From here you lift your gaze
see
a million silver stars
looking back
looking
ahead
you share their eyes
their hearts unfold
your natural language
everything talks
Happy new year

How Do You Call This
Me Dec 2020
Breathe your mind empty;
I couldn't give you
different names though your
appearances differ
I couldn't
bring myself to call you
anything
A half-hearted try
you say,
already feeling
your face radiate
this smile that only builds from
knowing
I couldn't name you
anything else

Like Breath
Me Dec 2020
A marvellous
flock of birds swims
in moving air and dances
as one
stunning
organism
I wish you could have seen this; if you are not competing, you can cooperate in a way that will leave you downright awestruck.
I wish for you all and myself to see, and to believe this.
Me Dec 2020
And then we part
into storm and chaos and we do so because
we can
because
we know

in truth

nothing

Do not be scared
Me Dec 2020
Because the fish
in the sea
never forbade themselves
to be aware of the water

Because the girl
in this world
always had eyes
for the bees and the leaves
of grass
and the air
You are always connected.

The Call
Me Dec 2020
There's a huge marble palace high
up above the clouds in the woods in the sky and beautiful birds
circle
its spires and fountains in this palace lives
a boy with pale skin not from
the lack of sun
with white lashes silvery
airy hair
A boy who runs plays jumps and one day
stumbles
into an unknown room
too dark to see his pale hands
Nevertheless
he permeates
the darkness
Eyes narrowed muscles only
half-tensed
A foggy thing softly
pushing tugging at
the corners of his mind
A memory
emerging
makes his feet
keep
the steady pace
into this room
towards a spot where
behind dusty curtains
a figure
curled up
sort of sleeps but breathes
gently
Pale hands find
Raven hair tug
lightly
Wake up, love
I was so pale cause you were missing

I Belong
Me Dec 2020
Hammer in my right hand a bunch of
nails in the left
green vines bending towards my legs
I'm here
with all I have

I kneel down on the
cool muddy surface
caress
with decided clarity
the soil
the earth

I do belong

Without a Second Thought
Me Dec 2020
what is love, what hate
what is a fifth grader picking up
a dead bird
what is your hand moving
to touch a bluebell flower
without a second thought
what your heart
in your word
what is love
what hate
how much weighs
your statement
in this cold winter air
how much
your warm breath

Tundra
Me Dec 2020
At the edge of your perception borders
the image of
a fuzzy silhouette a figure
zigzagging through
tundra snow
in quiet speed -
a mental movement
reaches you
covered in still ice crystals -
a reminder
of just how far
feels close to you

The Cave Men's Child
Me Dec 2020
The cave men's child sits
apprehensive
not really daring to make a first move
with all of the earth's turning
all of the creatures humming
outside the cave -
so Universe
intervenes
sends an image
of the night sky sprinkled
with silvery white scale-stars
on the pitch black
cosmic body
made of water -
a sign of intimate
Trust
for the cave men's child who
gets it
gets up
slowly
the right hand tinged in
rusty red colour
to make the boldest move -
a most beautiful handprint
on the cave walls
a slice of moonlight shining on it;
the most stunning canvas
of all time
the most courageous child

Life Calling
Me Dec 2020
The pancakes are not cooking themselves, dear. Life is not living itself, without you. Get up get going everything calls. Everything calls for you in colour and sound and brilliant movement and you shall see it -

You lift your palms shaking bring them together no idea why you see

Life

unfolding calling and you are not
doing it alone
You lift your palms hold them
to your forehead

Life

Integration
Me Dec 2020
You're
allowed to breathe
with everything you are
You're allowed
to breathe and
take
Space

wrap yourself around
those obstacles
like water
til they
melt
These days something in me feels like I'm not allowed to breathe fully. I have to really breathe consciously to not stop halfway through. Some places feel thick.

Fire almost burned away
sizzling
every stench by now every quivering unauthentic vow of love
every trick played on you
for the sake of

and you'll reek
of smoke and you will choke a bit
on your own courage
But Baby, it'll nourish this
entire world

Nobody fake it you
will make it through the flames
