Me and You Dec 2020
Breathe your mind empty;
I couldn't give you
different names though your
appearances differ
I couldn't
bring myself to call you
anything
A half-hearted try
you say,
already feeling
your face radiate
this smile that only builds from
knowing
I couldn't name you
anything else
  Dec 2020 Me and You
j a connor
The cold greets me as I talk to the dawn
Autumn
No Winter
Summer is gone

I stop to greet the sky seldom seen
Fallen
Hiding
Shadows on the green

Cold Spring does not support or try to hide hope
Prayers
Or wishes
Cherish or cope

My year lies in shapes pleasure and art
Crying
Laughing
Seasons break my heart
Me and You Dec 2020
A marvellous
flock of birds swims
in moving air and dances
as one
stunning
organism
I wish you could have seen this; if you are not competing, you can cooperate in a way that will leave you downright awestruck.
I wish for you all and myself to see, and to believe this.
Me and You Dec 2020
And then we part
into storm and chaos and we do so because
we can
because
we know

in truth

nothing

separates us
Me and You Dec 2020
An orange blue
bird
huddled outside under another
fluffy bird's wing gives you
an impression of wholeness
calm now
and swim
Light up
