Howl me
cowardly
scream it in my ear
story me
bore me
bury me
try to scare me
You’re livid and I’ve lived
with no petty injections till now
you hate
i don’t relate
you bare your teeth and i’ll smile
badger me
bother me
regret it
forget it
just dam your overflow
i’m tired of your wounded levies
cover me
smother me
but wait, please, till i’m gone
Rain it
Drain it
drown me
insanity
your annoying tickle on my ear-drum
save your breath
spill on me in your imagination
because i don’t listen anymore

Kiss me.
You are my woman.
Fearless, ****, ruled by Saturn.
My muse.
Fiery and timorous.
Hair of a lion, lips that sooth my body and soul.
Natural, scorching beauty and a mind like a whip.
A goddess to be touched with the love.
Love from thy fingertips encompassing every inch.
A body of beauty to gaze and ravish.
A mind of beauty to watch and devour.
Mine for always.

Kiss me.
I am your woman.
Untamed, nurturing, ruled by the moon.
Behaving in balance with stellar pulls.
Hips for bearing, ******* for worshipping.
Internal beams only you can see; smiles gleamed in the moment.
Listen to my soul and touch my heart.
Yours for always.

Kiss me.
Let our tongues wander the inner walls of our mouths.
Kiss me where our secrets and anecdotes lie.
Mouths straying from lips to necks,
Necks to *******,
******* to what lies between the thighs.
Moistness and anticipation building between the ears and legs.
Unyielding instants of uninhibited eye contact.
Rapture. Pain. Relief.
Everything rises to the surface.
Ours for always.

just look at her,
she wears the love she receives
it's overflowing, and she has no idea
where it should go
the overspill of others generosity
onto her, the air around her
charged and
here i sit,
here i sit,
should i dare say
that i find myself comparing?
the love you wear,
and the love i hold
are not two in the same

you walk around this town
like you have nowhere to go,
if i told you i could tell,
would you turn your head
in denial?
and if you lost it,
would you do anything...
anything at all,
to get it back into
your undeserving hands?

You look like a fire escape in a dress
Flower patterned
Sunday's best
I don't have to fall so hard anymore

The first night I held you
I dug your neck into a trench
This body was not at war with itself

Your shoulders are battlements
Your chest a drawbridge
I am waiting
Horseless
For you to let me in

I know you are so much softer than that

Lay across me again gorgeous
Let me sleep under your strength
The excersize was to describe a location and write about it like it were the safest place in the world without using words like safe or sanctuary. I could not for the life of me think of a place I felt safe. I wrote about a body instead. This is called a sanctuary poem.

Under clouds of day,
Sits my friend, Mae,
A friend of mine;
Who has always been gentle and kind!

A friend who is a dear,
With a loyal heart and listening ear,
A friend who is very kind;
A friend who listens to the blowing wind.

Under clouds of day,
Sits my friend, Mae,
A friend of mine;
Who has always been gentle and kind!!*

~Marian~
For my friend, Mae! Who is gentle and kind and always full of wise sayings! May your life be filled with sunshine, love, peace, and joy forever!!
