Tears cascade upon the Earth like meteorites
as we lie in the flower fields of India far away
I watch the sun rays play a story across your face
we whisper of past transgressions and travesties done to us
and how time moves slower here when we forget it all
we have waited so long to find this dream we pondered if it were real
we had at last found our way outside the worlds oblivious ways
gazing into each other we see our reflection lying in silence
finally falling to sweet repose as the moonlight draws us within her sweet blanket
no other warmth needed but one another

And thus I continue to distort pristine images.

Just to convince myself that something good must come from this..
I've developed a new, almost obsession, to create cubism images. Not quite sure why, but it's fun.

DieingEmbers
Ravens in flight
wings spread
wide
against the alabaster
of twilight
clouds
that frame
the gentle pinks
and reds of sleepy subsets
autumn hidden
as yet
behind wisps of midnight blue
waver softly in the warmth
of summers sleeping
breath
as I alone wipe the stars
from sleepy skies
and picture mornings born
from beauty such
as this
taste once more the dew drops
from as yet
closed
Rose petals tips
and smile
leaving it there upon her lips
my sweetest of moments
captured
forever in a single
goodnight
kiss.

Snip Snap

August
I BROKE my wrist
Snapped it like a TWIG
So I couldn't wave AWAY
The THINGS that they don't say
I'm being FORGOTTEN again
I'm trying to turn my HEAD
But it SNAPS along too
I'm a crumpled HEAP
Of TEARS and BONES
NO STICKS, NO STONES
I CAN'T look away
I can't BRUSH away
That they don't say anything
That I'm being forgotten, *again

If I said I want you,
Would you run and tell the stars
To close their eyes and ring dry
The clouds of tears?

If I said let me hold you,
Would the earth crack open,
To shudder the rolling lands,
Not cradle the hatching seeds?

If I said I am yours,
Would your name soon dissolve
And be lost in the revolving
Night that candles you in light?

If I heard your voice,
In twining dream and woke
Beside you talking in your sleep
What would your question be?

If I called your name,
Before the first sunning year
And heard you, Echo in the wind,
Would time guide us to the door?

My Body

August
Twisting, spinning, agonizing pain!
Coming in crashing, smashing waves!
Overlapping, faster, faster, faster!
And then slowing to a stand still
Recovering from the drilling
My body is slowly chilling
But then it comes back!
I'm again under attack!
This torture, I do not lack.
How much my body hates me today.

are dreams merely an oasis
materialized to sustain us on a day to day basis
some can so easily be consumed
day to day life incapable of being resumed
always turning back to the way of a madman
seeking to find in their own mind utter bedlam
say the same things over and over again
place your heart in a headlock, lay the blame
when will it change, will it ever
or shall we lie in illusions of a pointless endeavor

For all the silent voices
screaming as loud as you may
lying in broken sobs
shattered dreams
it is not right, it is not right
black is white, grass is blue, sky is green
all is so confusing
let me sing the blues for you
do not look for joyous sounds
look to me to strum broken guitar strings
stroke out of tune piano keys
regardless, for you I would sing
sliding my fingers down my grooved fret board
tapping in silent strokes
of forgotten dreams and abandoned tear stains
left to dry in bitter winds
let me sing the blues for you
Inspired by Chuck. Singing the Blues. You were right, it is my tune.
