You arrived at a time when the times were a-changin'*
Tangled up in blue, blowing in the wind
A simple twist of fate when the world needed saving
One more cup of coffee and your at it again

Like a slow train coming
Under the red sky
Holding back the wicked messenger
With God on our side

You gave us shelter from the storm
When life gave us buckets of rain
To this day you continue to warn
We're still only a pawn in their game

Hope to never say goodbye
On a night like this
*May you stay Bob, forever young
It's Bobs birthday!
These lines are all titles to some of my favorite Dylan songs...
Taking liberty with some to help them fit...

Polly Urethane
Girl with a peculiar name
Born into the oddest of times

She walks through the fields
Picking flowers at will
Tying them in bundles of rhyme

She then takes to the street
Corner of Humble and Meek
And gives flowers to the societally blind

Polly Urethane
The girl with a peculiar name
Looks at life and just has to laugh

Polly she knows
The silly world never slows
Here and gone in a flash

Polly she tries
To take it in stride
Though at times she doesn't understand

She's here to save all that's right
To the tune of delight
Played by a number nine piece magical band

Marching Main Street
Near the corner of Humble and Meek
Where Polly stands, flowers in hand

Polly Urethane
Girl with a peculiar name
Born into the oddest of times

With the moon as the conductor
The symphony of lights begins
As the heavens open in anticipation
Stars one by one come filing in

With each rhythmic starlight flicker
Keeping in tune with the galaxy
Entire planets hold their breath in wonder
From everlasting to everlasting nebula breeze

It all plays out in harmony
Keeping perfect 3/4 time
Such beauty not held by boundaries
Seen and heard light years through time

i never realize how much i miss my bestfrand
until he messages me

...the *******.

i was in love with him for awhile
blue Skys are tempting
any time of the year
i have a thing for
boys with smashed hearts
but i
got over it
can't chase blue Skys
my whole life
high as **** Brian S.'s come along
cocky Dougs
slick Adams
****-naked Gregs
smooth-talking Wayne Gilberts
and smiling Elliots
and they take up the time
inbetween
they give me reasons to smile
or cringe
at least they
******* entertain me
keep me
busy
that's all i look for
i guess

...i'm shallow as ****
and i don't even care
i'm just glad
my blue Sky is back
i don't love him like i used to
but he still loves me
and that makes it
ok...
time to raise hell...
blue Sky
and summer time
go together
perfectly
i spelled bestfriend wrong on purpose. i also spelled skies wrong on purpose. you're my boy, skyler. i love you even though you're absofuckinglutely out of your mind. HAZ RED OUS foreverrrrrr <3

Why are you alive?
When will you die?
The answer is somewhere
deep inside our minds.

Why are you here?
Where did we go?
Keep your backs against the wind
and go with the flow.

Who am I?
What will I become?
What will become of me?
and where I come from.

How will I get home?
On this planet all alone.
with an inferior species
who communicate by phones....

Downsizing

Downsizing, thats what they say
All my friends say ill be okay
That I'll find a job right away
If only they could see the pain

Downsizing, thats what they say
They lock the doors at close today
Now what am I supposed to do
Am I to old to start out new

Downsizing, thats what they say
No more work means no more pay
Twenty years at this job
They say the work now must stop

Downsizing, thats what they say
All for shareholders that must be please
Do they know the pain they've caused
So many families now feel lost

Downsizing, thats  what they say
We lost so many jobs today
Not just me but many friends
Today we know it all must end

Downsizing, thats what they say
Moved our jobs overseas
Chasing just the bottom line
All to make them one more dime

Downsizing
