Now,
It's been so long,
Arms branching out to you
Fossilise waiting to be filled.

The hair on the head has grown to the knee,
Changing its colours on the way down,
Bleached by the sun,
Stolen by the clock,
Left to grey.

Could the joints still move,
- if ever they wanted to?
So long frozen in commitment.

"I'll wait." - he said.

Aiming his arrow carefully,
So the two words would pierce though all barriers,
Exploding perfectly in the heart.

Shrapnel flies everywhere.
Duck and dodge the pieces of unworthy flesh!
She left. He waited.
Waiting for the time when she'd return from looking for something better.

Loosing this battle.
Hoping I don't catalyze.
Found myself mooing in meditation.
Lost in space...
I may be clueless at times and difficult in some moments but let me tell you something I'm not, yours. I'm not yours, that's my worst flaw.

REL
i remember every headache reminiscent!
a taste of burnt oranges like little
flames of flames of oceans like vents
at the bottom of my Being that bubbled up
all stupid words and furrowed brow

i know exactly how much weight is in an “i love you”
and in weighing them obsessively 5 am with a bottle
of god-knows-who from dad-knows-where i realized
it doesn’t really matter as much as highschool seems.

don’t tell me i don’t know anything
my soul is older than
the bark of the trees in my backyard,
as i still hear them
flirting with the birds as if things are
possible at all

(no judgement. i used to do the same
boys and girls and cut and run
just toys that whirl with waterguns)
121112
You drug me to hell,
And left me there.
Then went back for another girl.

And now I'm hitchhiking home.
With a knife in my back,
And smoke in my lungs.

Remembering the one I fell in love with.

You were a con artist that stole my heart.
You had such high morals.
A future.
A dream.
Me.

Now I have high morals.
A future.
A dream.
Me.

And you have bat **** on your eyes.
No future.
No dream.
Her.

Who's winning?
In a busy street,
though familiar,
somehow seemed very strange,
in every sense,
where, in milling crowd,
each one pushes and jostles
to inch forward,
they came face to face;
different planes of time
seemed to collide, in one second,
was it deja vu strike
in  the wrong way?

They both froze in their tracks,
"I am married" she whispered,
from a time in the past, it seemed.
As if his dream shattered
he felt a jab of pain in his heart,
brushing aside his sense of loss
he quickly asked
"With whom?"
as if the answer would change
something somewhere.
*A rush of guilt, quickly
took him over,
his voice  like a cloud in the sky
dissolved in the cacophony of life-
went out of hand,
"Isn't it me?"
To mama's home, when-ever my mister
starts acting cool, unto how many years
ever to straighten him out:
Can you promise to ensure this for me,
proponents of marriage by love?
I've been brought up like a princess by
my father, so dare not propose to me if
you cannot manage the same and
then shut the door to my mama's home!
I'll marry whomever my father chooses
aren't all ram the same otherwise-
Until de-horned and de-bearded my man
mama's home every now and then,
gifts for every festival, weddings
and merry occasions, my cradle
to fall back on, if life does rock my swing:
So, proponents of marriage by love,
dare not propose to me
if you cannot give me the same
and yet shut the door to my mama's home.
Exploration of a certain way of thinking  - there's some hard-boiled logic tinged with ancient wisdom, to arranged marriages - aren't all ram the same, otherwise!!
She must have been a striking beauty
in her younger days - what features
those wrinkles fail to conceal, nor
her droop, her tall, elegant frame;
She walks with still-surviving pride
despite her humble job now - at this
old age, she still has to scrub and clean
for a meal a day: no regrets, she is
about her work, this noon hour by
the garden: why do we for greatness
look to colossal figures or the stars?
Greatness abounds around us - these
who work hard for their survival,
honestly, not lie or cheat their way.
My wife pointed out the old lady working at the garden the other day at noon time. Such hard working honest people is why our (human) society still survives, not because of our lying and cheating elites.
Perhaps you never deserved me;
My forgiveness
Or adoration
Or Trust.
But I will always forgive you
Adore you, trust you;
For love is not
a graceless thing
I loved and love you still
So long as I have grace
Love you, I will.
