When I felt like nobody cared, YOU were there,
Soothing the wounds in my heart…

When I felt life was not worth it, YOU came around,
And proved the opposite…

When no one knew my worth, YOU showed me,
How much I meant to you…

When I had issues, YOU supported me,
Showing me how much I need you…

Now, when I look back, I have no regrets,
Because to know YOU is to know LOVE

This poem was written by my husband :) This is what he has to say about this poem :
"Wrote this poem in Hindi in the year 2001 during my B.Tech years..but left writing after that due to work load...but I think the DNA is still there :-)....Dedicated to all the lovely women out there...including my woman :-)"
If I held my heart on a string, I'd sink to the bottom of the sea.
The closest I'll come to heaven is thinking of letting go.

I can't help the moments where I felt like I was alive.
They drift away in the sad brightness of yesterday.

My heart looks like lightning that never lets go.
My face carries the rain like the soil for dried up tears.

The future is burning every second and becoming the ash of yesterday.
I'm going to lay in this pile of ***** smoke until I drown.

I need a friend
a friend who will be my friend forever
a good friend like you
black or white
a solid tender friend
i need a friend
a forever friend.

Why am I here you ask?
Why do I do this?
Why do I needlessly suffer?

My friend, I suffer
Not for personal gain,
Not for personal pleasure,
but for you my friend.

I suffer so that somewhere in this round world,
a mother's child will not.

I suffer my friend for I know that if I do not,
an unfortunate son must take my place
and endure what I endure.

You see my friend I wish not to live for myself,
I do not value my life as much as I value yours.

I live for the glory of a future that I shall never see.
To know because of my suffering a child was fed today.

My friend I live to suffer so that others may live to pleasure.
That is all I strive for.

Why should I or anyone care?
Oh such a primitive question!

Hear me!

If I live for myself, I will live a life of happiness and peace
and comes my death bed my line is finished.

If I live for a stranger, I will live a life of hardship and war
but comes my death, I shall live on through the spirits of those who live happy because of my suffering.

Am I confusing you?

It is my duty, Aidos.
My sole duty in this life.
My only request is to hear the sounds of joyful glee from small children.

My face can be caked with dirt,
My skin can be bruised and burnt,
My voice can be hoarse,

If the children across the street may live with
Their faces pure
Their skins smooth
Their voices soft

To live for the sake of someone
This moment may count for everything
I must gently cast aside myself
So that no matter how I depict
The I of tomorrow
I am drenched in wishes that won't disappear
The wishes of a future I shall never live in

This is my Aidos friend,
This is my duty,
This is my happiness,
This is why,
I suffer for you.
The sadness behind her eyes,
behind her lips
her words
her disguise
the suffering
the pain
the anguish
behind her mask they simply vanish
all hidden from the world
which sees what it desires
does not look deep
does not recognize the fake smile
the fake
"I'm fine"
which covers the true misery within

no one knows
no one cares
ignorance is everywhere

Let's talk about the wind
No, the wind
I mean how it feels to feel your soul come and go like that
Look at me, aren't eyes amazing?
Wind on the water of your eyes,
and your hair is a flock of birds

I'm sure there is a pattern,
especially when I see you like this
dumbfounded
in my mind
I am a genius
and you are interested...

Goosebumps on that side of my body only,
and insides shiver with the rippling wind,
inverted shock wounds
chalk on my windblown ideas
stock humans
walking around all the time, cut and dry culture,
I want to learn to paint and I want you to be there.
I want you to be the Titanic
and admit that you are fragile
be ready to go when the iceberg meets you, there

Wind on the ocean
I want to sink,
because the ocean is more powerful than peaceful
and I am fragile

Cover me in colors
Light up my world
I'm not so strong anymore

Give me your love
I swear I won't let it fade
I don't feel so good anymore

I'm tied together with a kiss
But if you fade away
I won't be ok anymore

I'm sorry that I need you
I'm sorry that you don't care
I'm sorry that I'm coming undone

I can't help it anymore.
