Cultural diversity isn't
just for ghettos and
trailer parks anymore.
America may have won
the global King of the Hill
game, but the **** and
lava flows from our eruptions
and mines has left us
standing on a mole-hill
instead.
Our discarded techno-babble
is next year's Christmas
gift elsewhere.
More than our currency
needs a revaluation,
and it is surely coming,
stalking us as the
lioness shadows the
antelope, waiting for the
element of surprise,
to put us in shock,
so they can stand in awe.
One man's mansion is
another's doublewide...
accessorize with caution.

^^^  i am seriously in love with this ^^^

i guess because, IMO, it is a new form of visual "shock and awe" poetry, like a David Lynch film that you might actually have a chance of understanding...maybe.

The
words
you
say
capture
me.

This
is
a
new
feeling.

I
have
fal***
for
words.

Who are you to do this to me?
I don't need to use a metaphor.
for the way our love erupted and took over a town
For the way there would never be enough water to quench our thirst
Or the way
your oxygen
gave me life.
But I used one anyway
The flowerlike
animal perfume
in the god’s curly
hair —

don’t assume
that like a flower
his attributes
are there to tempt

you or
direct the moth’s
hunger —
simply he is
the temple of himself,

hair and hide
a sacrifice of blood and flowers
on his altar

if any worshipper
kneel or not.
Headphones and fried food,
metabolisms and ****** moods.
Broken condoms; beer pong,
scraped up knees, rip the ****.
Scratched wrists;
That kiss was more than just a kiss.
Mirrors, scales,
headaches, high heels.
Anti-depressants, cold sores,
***** toe nails, clogged pores.
Bare feet, torn shirts,
sweat covered forehead, short skirts.
Lace bra on the floor,
don't forget to lock the door
Pimples and Prozac;
******* and match making.
You can always tell when she's faking.
Pierced ears, cheap beers,
blow jobs and rich snobs.
To your last family party and first cigarette;
Raspberry tinted ***** and the first name you try to forget.
Stained underwear, tweezers and straightened hair.
Mascara and flat irons,
But in all honesty
What the **** is a flat iron?
To rice cakes and heartaches
Lice and love and public bathrooms.
Undercover cops,
Plan B and mushrooms.
A bruise so sore,
what's there to live for?
Can't have my love, can't have my *****,

what happened to the right to choose?

I Have Become The Songbird's Favorite Summer Tree, And My Precious Sparrows Are Flying Away, Else Where, Without Me, For I Am Grounded By The Hardening Soils..
Last row
last seat
my eager eyes long to meet
but like always, you've been swept up and along
into the dust pan in clouds of dusty smoke
for someone that stands out, so
you sure know
how to disappear
like my appetite whenever I was around you
I literally felt nothing
but full
and excited
for what I'd see next
promised myself Id never be one of those girls
wide eyed in the front row
coming to your every show
lips parted
just enough
to breathe in your essence
hypnotic
Im dazzled
and it lasted
just as long as you wanted
and you snap your fingers
and my mind darts
as my eyes do now
in this room full of people
that are all here for you
you dont know this, but I do
Im starting to think
you dont like to be seen
and that the glances and stares
are few and far between
in your mind
so you indulge, like everyone else
but its always followed by a purge
some, like me, merge and move on
but you cant learn
from something you never understand
so you bury your treasures
and swallow the key
unlike me
your lips never parted
enough
but  you had me fooled
into think you breathed me in too
but at the end of the show
when the curtains close
i see you exhale
and the breath i thought was real
is the very one that sent you off in riffs
of white rolling mysteries
and after all that
buried treasures and quick escape acts
I still dont know why
you never wear your purple sweater ?
This is super rough.. just something I had to get out regardless of structure/sound etc
