Sad, beautiful days
Embrace me, from some stranger land
Than told to truth, beneath a ******'s moon.

I must go there to unfold the dawn-
Quickly; before the moon's shadows can find
The red radar beam, that's behind our eyes.

Now longing owns the temporal shell;
There's one name, one lone figure
As distant as the blinking stars.

A gesture may have to speak our words for us;
Or sometimes, only an expression;
Or just the direction we happen to be facing.

In a wider arc, I sense your being
Big as the ocean, deeper than sky;
Your tears the diamonds, questioning why?

Give to me your softer hands,
That sorrow's flames could never bear;
Somewhere above the spreading sun

In waves of peace, I'll find you there.
Early dusk and it's as if
all the birds have memorized
lullabies; they've quieted
to delicate refrains
as the summer sun descends
flame orange and spent
to its western berth. Birds huddle
deep within the cradling
catalpa trees and murmur
in their soft way to one other,
barely audible to those who
would listen, perhaps
reassuring each other that
the night will not be long.

--
owl is howling into the deep of the night
date is changed within one second
I'm sitting on the bottom of your closet
your clothes hanging like dead bodies
while you lay naked on the sofa, asleep
the hot air plays tricks with the mind

I can barely remember how I felt turning twenty-two
                                 ---- my favourite number
spent it with strangers who were too eager to become friends
and you'd like to believe the fun will last
but it's no better than those birthday parties I had as a kid,
when nobody showed up
feeling uncomfortable in clothes they made me wear
now I can't recapture the meaning a cake had

god is like a girl picking daisies
playing "love me, love me not" with our lives
we like to believe we change
but there are things we can't shake off
never being courageous enough to trust myself
with responsibility on my hands
always feeling like a first time playing the game
awkwardness in my mouth and my fingers
forgive me for always doubting, never trusting the words
and you use the sweetest one's which calm me down like a spell
I'll take you for a walk if you can listen to my silent thoughts

age carries prejudice into which we are fooled to believe
as if years shape all of us in the same way
as if we gain respect by mere number of our age
as if it really matters how old our flesh is
age fools us in a way and leaves no room for closeness
but I just want to sit beside you as you paint

So this is what it has come to
So this is what is built
After all these hours working away
After all these hours of no play
We are the bleeding masses of habitual monotony
We are the unsatisfied smiling spinning labatomies
Drifting towards a sea which resembles nothing of home
Drifting towards a graveyard filled with unmet ancestors bones
Us together hands with our palms apart with a sun black with no light
Us together standing back to back for our eyes hang from the blight
Great hordes of dripping wet soldiers from wars unknown
Great generals swing their wands as the dead rise from the foam
My story is unfinished and the man which holds the pen is absent
My story is an eclipse of ignorance caked in an ash that is heaven sent
Lost forlorn faking contention that could be read by the youngest angel
Lost in time born in time awaiting a release blessed by a soft rusty bugle
And now as the wind moves dead leaves among the standing trees
And now as I see that time stands still for no man not even me
I sit as I watch the rippling waves clap as my comrades venture off
I sit as I hear the silence of my breathe drift onto a rocking splintered dock
"Tell Me I'm Right and let the sun rain down on me"
Here's hoping that in time we will understand the                    dark
Evenings, and what IS worth living for.                   And the meaning of what's

Bad, or good.                                     *"There's Nothing Wrong With Just
A Taste Of What You Paid For"
                No One is Perfect.                     "A
Lonely Speaker In A Conversation"
                            We will all get that
Longing, 'sinful', urge                          and there's nothing wrong with that.
And now as you Take A Moment To Assess The Sins you Paid For        and
Desperation -will happen to everyone at least

Once in their life.                         And you will make it through it.
For with each new day that goes by,             REMEMBER        your

Memories. With them you can find answers to your life's greatest questions.
Only now, you Start To Notice Empty Bottles Of Gin              and
Now, this is the part where you start questioning your life....
"Another dollar, another day"      baby,            you'll find what's worth

Living for.              We all got something in our lives to live for.
It might be: friends, family, your pets, a lover, or all.            But there's
Something-Always; You just have to search for it.           You're Worth It.
And now,         "Give Me A Sign I Want To Believe"                  Stay Positive.
