Retired

I am
I have
I'm done

But I know I'm not

Like a book

The ending pre-written
hints were subtle throughout
ignored and carried on
like I was as a reader

Seasoned Thought

My heart was winter
Chilling blizzards
With no light

An unexpected sun
Scorched my soul
Brief is what it was

Winter has now returned
The memory of light unforgetable
Summer is only a thought away

when am I going to move on

guiding light
