Before guns wore make-up,
We used to put pennies in our socks
So we’d always walk on the root of all evil.

Now Wall Street angels frolic through satellite clouds borrowed
from youths educated by universities of smoke and plastic bags.

(The tears of a child are homage to the waning gods)
For in a day not far away,
Over the painted moon of the Morning Son,
The sun will rise wearing the finest war scars money can buy.

And the screams of humanity will be heard from Venus,
Forgetting that the reciprocal of   L-I-V-E   itself  is     E-V-I-L
And perhaps death is the life meant to be lived.
John 10:34 "Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are gods'?

I cannot pretend
that you would fit perfectly
with my grey existence
for you,
that is, all of you,
would make everything

so
unbelievably
colourful.
I look at the fridge..
                                 ..empty.
I look at my wallet..
                                 ..empty.
I look at your picture..
                                 ..instantly I'm full.

In our darkest hour
There need be only one light.
A flickering candle,
A ray of hope
But if this candle were to go out
Will we ever get back home?
Been sittin here for awhile
looking over shoulders,
on my tiptoes tryin to see
if you’re still there, staring back at me
with those eyes, those eyes of a hazel sea
getting lost in the morning commute, casually.

Why don’t we
fall in love sometime
Why don’t we
knock on wood
because things change sometimes
Maybe a little superstition’s
all we needed this time
***’ luck’s a coin in mid air
and there’s no time for that, dear

So, excuse me, miss chai tea
I don’t have much direction, just so you know
my words come in bunches and sometimes
they move a little slow
see this makes sense to a guy in my shoes
full of pride, but usually not enough to approach
a girl like you
in this cafe, on anyday
cross the room or a table away

Why don’t we
fall in love sometime
Why don’t we
knock on wood
because things change sometimes
So much for setting plans in stone
wake up one morning and they’re gone
long gone, like your cares and the sun
replaced by the moon, not a moment too soon

It’s just that your eyes were so inviting
they had my head and my heart fighting
worried you turn me away
and tell me to keep waiting
that one day I’ll meet another like you
what do I do if there’s only you
what do I do when all I see is you
what do I do, do I do
with this
with this love I have for you

Well here’s my hand
it’s yours if you want it
i’ll close my eyes
and wait for you to want it

Why don’t we
fall in love sometime
Why don’t we
knock on wood
because things change sometimes
Maybe a little serendipities
all we needed this time

There’s no rush here
I’m in no rush dear
time is yours if you want it
this beaten heart
is yours if you want it
all It needs is some love
And I encourage you to start it

Though this might be too soon
this love’s a full moon
It’s not going anywhere, it’s
been here for hours and its not even noon
we can wait till we wake up tomorrow
and you’re looking around for some clothes to borrow
maybe last night was a sign to stick around
maybe last night was when your love was found
Why do you continue to sleep this night?
Like so many others, refusing to awaken
I am losing patience with your lack of knowing
With your avoidance to feel

Hear me ... Come to me

Come back to the fore mother's womb
Know your place of origin
It is time for you to be born again of blood and lust
Time to drink deep and be nourished by Ancestral *******

I come to you in the quietness of the night
I come to you with arms that ache to hold you
With a tongue that burns to share with you
All that has been denied you for too long

What is happening to me?

I did as I was told. I followed the formula.

Studied well. Worked hard. Fell in love..
.
Why was it all taken from me? What is left for me?

Doing and not “Being” leaves no time for the sacred
You wonder why the emptiness grows inside you?
Let me love you into growing and into knowing
The truth of the fullness of a woman

Time to leave your antiseptic cocoon
Time to touch, to burn, to feel
Time to leave the shackles of other's man made rules
And dare to create your own from having lived

So many fear the dark.
But water and fire gather in the dark places below.
The brave and bold have learned to go there eagerly
They run with pulses racing.
Their bodies flushed, warm, alive.

Hear me ... Come to me

Tonight we shall meet and touch
It is our intention to reclaim all that has been lost to us
It is our intention to give to you, all that has been denied
Dare to free your body.
Dare to open your soul.
Feel.

Hear me ... Come to me

Let me dig deep into your soul
Become one with your Ivory bones
Know the harmony of your blood's song
Find the place where I belong

Let my footsteps echo within your mind
Journey with me through space and time
Let me turn you inside out
Breathe the Breath from your sweet mouth

A pulse stilled...now throbs and rushes
A tongue denied...salivates
A covert glance...seeks to be engaged
Flesh and mind flooded with new yearning...are hungry
Woman of the heart, Let thunder roll
Dig in your earthiness,
Follow your roots to your flesh
And find us dancing in your blood

You don't have to tiptoe around your heart
Dig in. Know it. Own it.
Trust the knowing will bless your lips and your hips
And set your world on fire!

Joey will come
and she will be there
even in her death
                     for I know
                     joey will come

how I miss her silver hair
                     and her sweet dear face
I miss the way she was
I miss her mad elastic head
                     That seam to think wonder's
                     Of today and many lands
                     How we played mind games
which now                                      Joey MAKES ME THINK OF YOU       LOVE    Paul.
Eggs, eggs, toss them high in the air
Catch em, and gargle, and mash them, and swear
Eat them with shells, eat them with sauce
Eat them with bags, eat them with moss

Eggs, eggs, between sandwich bread
That's what the wise elderly miller had said
Before came the bomb and he had dropped dead
Before being poisoned by a surplus of lead

And then came a centipede, long and sanguine
And bit a small child, so recently weaned
Off the protein derived from his mother's fine eggs
So he had to start munching on his mother's fine legs

"Be warned" said the Miller, his hair all askew
While dousing his wounds with mountains of glue
A tapeworm emerged, and looked toward the sky
Feeling envy toward all the birds that could fly

But the Miller was quicker, even in old age
He smacked the worm soundly, in a manner enraged
Bruised from the damage, and covered in glue
The worm turned away from the sky that was blue

Never with pelicans would he fly with delight
Never with owls would he soar through the night
For all Darwin's cruelty, an injustice rings
Tapeworms simply have no need for wings

So he bit the old Miller, and laid ten thousand eggs
They hatched and devoured his liver and legs
And as the man writhed, waiting to die
He vomited upward, up toward the sky

The tapeworm went flying, up toward the clouds
The air felt exhilarating, the rushing wind loud
For once in his life, he soared with the birds
Then in came a swallow, and bit off a third

His body, segmented, fell in parts to the ground
Tears seeped from his eyes, his face in a frown
From the ground he gazed up into the ominous fog
Before being lapped up by an unlucky dog
