A Thomas Hawkins
That unexpected surge of passion
who knows from whence it came
But we just had to have each other
over and again

Barely time to make it through the door
before clothing it got shed
no time to waste on buttons
things just got ripped off instead

fumbled for a light switch
staggered 'long the hall
moonlight through the windows
as family photo's started to fall

dining table cleared
in a single one armed sweep
who cares about the noise
it's too late to be discrete

skirts lifted to save time
******* just pulled to one side
belts undone, zippers ripped open
so suddenly inside

a display so animal in nature
as your nails dug in my back
groans of passion fill the air
patience was all we lacked

Eventually its over
****** acheived, ****** shared
panting in the moonlight
bodies naked, passions bared

This doesn't happen every day
and maybe never will again
That unexpected surge of passion
who knows from whence it came

I can still taste you,
though the taste has grown bitter
as the days have passed.

Your voice still hangs here,
in the stillness of the night,
but just by a thread.

All of your letters,
the edges torn and frayed, turn
to ash in my hands.

And as the pieces
hit the floor, I realize
that you are dying.

Your breath does not cease,
but your presence slowly fades
with each passing day.

Your lungs are alive,
but your heart, that I used to
hear beat, pumps no more.

Honey eyes are spent,
such beauty in their unrest.
Close them now, and sleep.

I have seen you in
your most vulnerable state
and it might **** me.

I will stay awake
for eternity to watch
you drift in your dreams.

A momentary
release, freedom from this cruel,
unrelenting world.

I find happiness
in your unmoving eyes, the
stillness of your hands.

God himself could not
shut these lover's eyes, for this
is my own release.

There's a bug stuck in between the window and the screen
and I think about how he got there
and how ******* ******* he must be,
and if he's even a "he".

But even if he got out,
he wouldn't go anywhere important.

And I wonder if bugs know that glass is glass.

Balancing.
Dancing on this edge,
I've never felt anything before,
This moment, This breath,
Nothing can exist beyond your arms.
My Heaven.
My Angel.

Restless again,
But there's no movement.
Try as I might,
I can't sleep here.
Pick up and go,
But I've got no direction.
Shake, shiver, Stop.
Might as well give up.

seethroughme
wait
 Jun 2010 Icarus
seethroughme
skin polished
with oils, salt and husks
i gleam
with perfumed butters and musk
silken smooth flesh
like living warm honey
i languish
in the golden light of dusk
limbs naked
under silks and plush
i wait

i wait for you

Tickled pink by your suggestion,
the way you speak,
crisply; wires crossing.

Sensations creep from ground,
roots grapple with personality;
always smiling.

I think of you softly,
I think of you hardly,
I think of you smiling,
I think of you crying.

Weeping like a willow,
I'm growing,
I send down the lines of engagement,
you swing from my branches...
hurling to and fro...
both smiling...
both laughing...

let these be the memories,
that seed the future...

let these be the memories,
that allow us to grow.
