people think we have it all when we say that we have food and a place to crash
this is not always true
Souls become sick
They are abused, neglected, and lonely
Our hurt souls make us lost inside
Our lonely minds make us crazy

love is the most amazing feeling in the entire world
love is knowing what you have when you have it
love has sacrifice
if there is no sacrifice, there is no love
love is only having eyes for one person
and never wanting to leave their side

the moment we stop questioning the meaning of life is the moment we start living.
it is scary how we hold to power to do whatever we want with our lives
sadly most of us don't know what to do
but all around we are given opportunities.
There are opportunities to be kind and opportunities to meet new people and experience anything we want to
Only a few of us truly take advantage of this
It is impossible to find out what you really want to do with this opportunity, if we don't first learn to love ourselves, accept our pasts, and love what all this pain is shaping us up to become

internal battles within our souls are what bring us to question.
We question why life comes with hardships
We question why we are put through battles that others aren't
We complain about these things, but never realize
Life is fair because it is unfair to everyone

they say we make our own choices,
that we choose our own paths.
we only have ourselves to blame,
if we ever fail.

but we,
we are all bound
by the same chains,
threads,
and webs
of the inevitable.

we meet new people,
and from thereon,
they have affected us
and,
we have affected their futures.

we spit out words--
words that may not hold meaning to us--
but influence others
so, so much
(in all kinds of ways--the good, the bad, and the in-between).

remember this:
we should not be pulled down by our past.

rather:
it is because we only have one past,
but we have infinite futures.

and then I saw him.
It felt like the first time when my heart beated like a drum
just when I thought I was over him
my body proved me wrong
even when my eyes hadn't even met his yet
I know I blew my chance
I just wish my mind would stop racing when I thought of him and I didn't slowly lose my mind every single time I hear his name

your life is an empty canvas
you are the only one who's in control of the paintbrush
if your heart is heavy, you are not weak
It is you who is in control always
not the circumstances
within your painting there will be flaws
there will different shades and textures
the design will travel in all directions
as will your life
pain is inevitable
and also is your death
living with a heavy heart is simply surviving
the paint brush must be picked up
life awaits
