Color me green like my aura
and the needles of the Christmas tree.
Begged, color me free like the forest
and the algae beneath the sea.
Color me blue like the waves up above
and the sky even higher than that.
Pleaded, color me new like the bird's feathers
and the widened eyes of a cat.
Color me pink like a winter nose,
the blanket I clung to as a child.
Yelled color me sinking within myself
when your bloodshot eyes go wild.
Color me black like the darkening night
or the air cupped between my hands.
Screamed color me back into your arms
and I promise to stop my demands.
Color me red like the blood 'neath my skin,
like a rose plucked fresh from a plant.
Sighed, color me dead like a graveyard
as the final word spoken is "can't."
And color me yellow like sunshine
and the rising of christ from his tomb.
Spoke, color me mellow like dreaming
as I look towards my healing wounds.
Color me indigo, color me teal
color my sins. Not forgiven- still healed.
Color me ancient and reborn once more,
color me brighter since I'm still in this world.

I'm a six foot castle
with a head made of stone
you tried to get in
but you battled all alone
My eyes are battlements from
which I fire missiles to
fight off all my demons
they never leave me alone

My minds a raging bar fight
with people throwing chairs
you came in a dress
you were so unprepared
My hands are devils tools
with which I make my music
I write up all my demons
they never leave me alone

But this is just a lie
my walls are made of skin
and they're not air tight
my eyes are just eyes
with a touch of blue
Irises and pupils with which
I watch you battle all alone

I know I'm not a castle but
I've got this head made of
stone

I think this *** makes more sense than you ever could.
The part that thinks it wouldn't, knows of course it should.

In my drunken haze, I run naked in the rain.
The stars let me know there's no need to live in shame.

My hands tremble,
The cold nips my skin.
It consumes me.
Comes forth, sunken within.
I light my cigarette
And gaze into the day's light...

I leer on,
to familiar scenes.
They pause for a moment
then unexpectedly change.
I take another drag
And wonder on...

Thoughts relapse
Memories become vivid
Pain and pleasure gray
A thousand things at once
I finish my cigaret
It is night...

Falling, crisp air folds,
Sculpted by the angels,
This moment, our time.

Eyes awake, I embrace you.
Crystal smile back.

We dance through ephemeral bliss,
Sharing passing solace.
In so rare a moment, I ask,
“Please Last”
As I indulge in your smell.

Hot breath on neck…
Melting. Always melting.
You’re so soft.

Tighter and tighter I squeeze
Thaw becomes inevitable.
The fantasy is fleeting,
Desperation outcries pleading – “Stay”

“Your sparkle delights me”
And still you vanish.

“When will I see you again” I mused,
Water running from finger tips.

“In reverie”

If You Drown The World I Would Never Care,
I Am Lame And Tired From This Despair,
T'was Eerie And Cold As A Blackened Sea,
You Can Break My Heart; It Is Too Easy,
An Adding Factor Is The Lack Of Rain,
It Introduces A New Type Of Pain,
The Foundation Hard; As A Jaded Stone,
The Wind Of Hatred Chilling To The Bone,
Flowers Blooming In The Garden Of My Hope,
I Feel Foolish--Entirely A Dope,
Label All Love As Horrid Lies And Truth,
Yet I Have To Learn; I Am Still In Youth,
Drown The World Tomorrow I Wouldn't Care,
It Would Free Me From Everything I Bear
My First Try With Iambic Pintameter!:) Hope You Enjoyed

The bright sun sets dawn,
waving goodbye to green fields.
covered by mountains.

cattle's in gestures;
Stars shone making its harsh bid.
hiding in velvet.

when clouds made its way.
murmuring thunder at side.
Waiting, heavy rain.
