In our graceful gray
I searched for entity golden.
You summoned me
with a silver smile

and a fervor lit so close,
****** vapors threatened to ignite
the embers which teased my core,

singeing a trail of teeny
hairs.

I inhaled your
exhale;

***
curled around my tongue
like smoke
I'm cold
You have taken everything from me
Stripped me of what's mine
Left me curled in a ball of despair
You take what you want
Not even realising what you are doing to me
You turn your back on me
You ask for more I give you more
I ask for little I get none
Next time I'll buy a bed with the quilt nailed on!
READ IT AGAIN...Yes he takes all the covers! Drives me crazy! Lol I hope some of you get my reasoning on this one.
How could I have expected you to hear
yourself--damaged--

when everything
was screaming

that I was the siren

drawing you
to a trap

even though--reluctantly--
I always told you I only sang to pass the time
mutually self destructive relationship
