I want you to know that your my shinning star
You fill my heart with your magnificent light
You brighten my day and night with your dazzling light
You may not know it but you are my muse
You are my inspiration in many ways
Thoughts of you keep me going on difficult days
You brighten my days and night with dazzling light
I want you to know that whether you are near and far
You are my shinning star
You fill my heart with magnificent light
I want you to know that even though our time together is to brief
I always believe in you, and hold you dear in my heart
It is hard to part from you
You may not know it, or I might not show it but after we say Goodbye
I start to cry, then i remember, that i can not hold onto you forever
because you are a shinning star and are destined for greatness
Your my shinning star you fill my heart with magnificent light
I know that you encourage me to follow my dreams
I want you to know that a very big dream already came true
The day I first held you in my arms, and looked in your eyes and saw
that light there, and I am sure my eyes were glowing too,
I remember that day in December like it was yesterday
Always remember your a shinning star
I want you to know your my shinning star
you fill my heart with your magnificent light
you brighten my day and night with your  dazzling light
This poem is one I wrote for my daughter whose Birthday was earlier this week.
I hope she reads it soon, I think she will be surprised, I hope she likes it!!
Liquid in our thoughts
Solid in our actions
Sharp to the point
Soft to the touch

Fluid in the matter
Choppy in the act
Faithful in our promises
Unreliable in our paths
Light to the touch, weary and meak
Stumbling over words
That come in heaps rather than syllables.

Bent over and hunched, crumbling
Struggling to breathe in
The air is drenched with regret.

In my mind,
I've died a million ways
Oh my, to find
Meaning to fill the days.
Pays in coin
**** on fire,
As Plath would say.
This circumstance seems dire
Liar, it's only in your mind
Find meaning in the days
Ways that may
Teach me love
Reach above
Make me stay.

Piggy bank smashed
For the last coin and cash
Stash of licorice
Blends in well
Swell with butterflies
When I see her
On my wrist
And in my blood
Flood my veins with fire and flames
Tames animals I don't know the name of
Not a single dove
To love
Above a harrowing landscape
**** my mind
Before my body
Shoddy, I give it away
Don't have to stay
I'll even hold the door for you
Piggy bank black and blue
Do what you need to do
Each step I grow farther and closer to my home
Two different doors, each house is still my own
Two sets of keys
Two sets of rules
This is not the fate I would have chose

I have come to the conclusion
That all of life is merely an illusion.

Time is nothing more than relative
And love is ridiculously sensitive.

We astonishingly keep in tact
By sudden moments of impact.

These moments, as glee as they may be
Never last for long, especially for me.

They pass by with a shimmer and a wink
And when they're gone I do nothing but drink.

But nothing is sadder as when I am twisted
Because that moment is gone; I missed it.

I do not hate myself though
Because it's impossible to feel low.

When I am high as a kite
Just thinking about tonight.

And how I came to the conclusion
That all of life is merely an illusion.

Happiness is a gift;
Do not let it drift.

For not everyone is able
To feel an emotion so stable.

Lies

We fear the future,
But hate the past.
We live in the now,
Time moves too fast.
We rebuild our strength,
Without a cast,
We hold it together,
But it will never last.
Lies, they stack up and hide,
But we're truly transparent,
We see right inside.
Lies come back,
And haunt us,
They control,
And taunt us.
These lies are sharp,
Like a knife,
These are the lies,
Of everyday life.
