I go where the wind blows me, and I follow my heart
Whether that brings us closer together, or tears us further apart...
What is done in the dark often comes to light;
What is done in the light often lurks in the dark-
When its all said and done,
The only thing that matters is if I'm
Happy
Because, I am the only person that I can be, and
Wherever I'm at,
I need to feel like that's exactly where I need to be.

i was walking
humming that song
about neapolitan dreams
looking at all the dried worms
on the hot sidewalk.
the rain makes them run away
from their homes
trying not to drown
but then the sun
comes
and shrivels them up:
little broken
flat
squiggles
on the sidewalk
what a *****
trick...
suddenly
i found
one that was barely
alive
struggling
trying to dig into
the scorching cement
i don't even like worms
i think they're gross
but i picked him up
put him in the dirt
covered him with some grass
to protect him from the sun
because i know how it feels
to be far from home
trying to get away
from a frightening
place

if i could see
what is hurting me
i'd tell it to stop
for the love of
god

Do you bleed
from the paper cut
the cut from the tree you defile
to so worship your paper
do you choke
on the fumes
the fumes you expel
when you speak your vile intentions
do you drown
in the water
the water you taint
to promote your heinous acts
do you die
live to die
is it worth it
is it worth the graves trodden upon
if you so believe in the afterlife
will I see you there
or will it be in Hell
where the whip I will at last hold
and then you will realize what it is to plead to no avail

float to me

lean on me

I will catch you

weak as the legs

I use to stand

may be,

lay it all on

me,

& I will

requite your

trust with all

the love I have

ever had to

give, just call

I know

you need a

friend, & here

I am;

a stranger
to me it seems that the truly rich
are the contemplative,
the homed
are the ones
who can find a home
or create one
for someone else
the orphaned
are the ones who have forgotten
to look into the soul of the world
and one another's eyes

the blessed are the ones
who find themselves cradled
in the arms of the stars
feeling themselves more beloved
than anyone on earth
knowing the Creator
wishes everyone
to feel like that

knowing
love is waiting:
like a favorite woven hammock
in the jungle between the betel-nut and the soursop tree

like the tiny waves that seek the shore
to say hello over and over
to kiss the cheeks
of the hermit *****

like the seahorse clouds
brilliant orange and red
mirroring the ocean until
the whole world is a sunset,
i am in the sunset, i am the sunset

and the sun never really sets after all
it's bringing light to india
kenya hawai'i
it will
be back
Pax.
Pax.
Be with you.

Peace train.
Peace Corps.
Power to the peaceful.

Peace or violence?
The peace of the grave?
Shalom, amani, pagas:

Peace.
To the far off.
In the streets.
Peace child.

Peace.
Strums a guitar.
The sound of the stars.
Your face in my heart.

Blessed are those who make: peace
on earth,
between brothers,
with God.

Peace
of path.
Of mind.
Of sleep.

Peace
I leave with you.
Peace, foreigner
This summer day
is terrible,
My body is
inoperable.

The temperature
is 78.
Sandals or shoes?
choices I hate.
The sky is too
bright a blue,
The suns cruel rays
burn right through.
And those few clouds
take no shape-
My imagination they
do ****.
Oh the flowers
bright with bloom
All the colors
a painful flume.

Bees buzzing
a hellish tone
Within my kingdom?
so near my throne?
I loathe the children
and their cheer,
The slightest thought
so hard to hear.
Yet to be *******
by the sound-
of people running,
No solace found!

For no one cares
no, not for me
Bound to chair
while you are free.

My body is
inoperable,
This summer day
is terrible.
Another quick write, let me know what you think.
