when you serve in god’s name
remember to be tame
and not to seek fame
surrender blame
and forsake healing the lame
just be and be blessed
and let the divine tend to the rest
it may be hard
it may be trying
but keep on smiling
care for the dying
and at times hold space
for the crying children
do not be mean
or cold or disheartened
instead let your compassion
unfold like a flower
and be a source of harmony
and comfort
to those who need your support
for love is wild and free
just like birds and bumblebees
and if you don’t agree with me
than that’s ok too
just be true to you
like the sweetest honey in the hive
you are already full of beauty
wonder bred of the djed-eye

(the resurrection and the miracle of the loaves and fishes explained briefly)

Jesus said, "Whoa! She burned a hole in uncertainty."
Mary replied, "The shelf life of a loaf of infinity, is exponentially longer than its expiration date."
Jesus said, "Amen, fishes!"
The misty mystery is always laughing,
and coiling in silent spirals, right beneath our nose.
We were born
from the clouds,
and immediately
you turned me
upside-down,
and started singing
in the shower.

Throw me a line,
if you find the time,
i know i'd really like
to catch up with you.

We are all inclined to wander.
We are all inclined to ponder,

Our origins
or if you must
our source,
but lets try to trust
that we are probably
here for some purpose (or other).

Of course that
may be clear
to some of you;
yet to others
its just a fog,
or an ephemeral haze,
of lust and musty smells.

The lingering pain
that dwells
between these shells,
when we confess our faults.

That we are all just
lonely houses,
built on pools of quick-sand,
with glands and nervous systems
that can no longer bear
to heed the soul's
commands.

Why should it make sense,
these feeble attempts
at understanding?

When its all a stance
we take against the odds,
to wager that our lives
were evenly tossed,
like the throwing of darts,
or the casting of dice.

Left spinning on thin ice,
like shopping carts
left in the gap space.

What will take our place
after we face
the ultimate stakes
tonight?
A. Never trust anyone, that doesn't owe somebody, some amount of money.

B. Never trust, anyone, that doesn't owe you money.
liver is nothing new
but liberty is a finer stew
james of the woods
john of the cage
rest in these glades for awhile
for rest stops abound
only on a southbound train
heading nowhere
near your destination
you undress the millions of dollars
you have hidden in your sneakers
your feet are bankers
and your shoes undertakers
remnants of the ancient soul
drown in the pounding rain
you whiten your hair in the snow
and wipe off the dust and dirt
that’s gathered round the stove
frozen like compound interest
between two relative fingerprints
this mist is just as close as your nose
and your feet are two dancing elephants
engaged in drunken rhetoric
they fund two lumpy stockings
with a legacy of coal
and **** these empty cottages
rented in the heat of summer
till the blackest ashes turn white
you churn the butter
through the dampness of the night
until the rose of morning
is ready to ignite
the flight of the seagull
comes with no warning
and the sound of a star falling
is what whets your appetite
lets salvage this shipwreck
and make it float again
i am a man
and a man must have a mast
i am a sailor
and you are a tailor
but what is that to Thee
our destinations may be great
but our destiny is incomplete
so many hours of anticipation
while we were lost at sea
now is the time
to retire your vagrancy
and you can expect
a new set of clothes
to adorn your subtle body
yes respect is a burden
unless it dwells within
for then you'll grow
steady like a mountain
and stronger than a tree
and your soul is as wide
as any canyon
that i ever did see
and this gift of sapience
is definitely not reserved
solely for you or me
