Mild blisters,
create their own balm.
Everything heals.
Everything is as exactly as it is meant to be.
You are fearful,
I understand that.
Why though?
You have blisters,
this is obvious.
Blisters create their own balm,
and as a fellow human-being,
I love you.
You will heal.
Don't let insecurities discern you.
Everyone doubts what gives them strength.
Breath.
Take it in.
Your life,
you have one.
Live it.

Marigold
She rummaged around in my soul,
as though looking for a pen in a handbag,
and i was left wondering
how words had such a power over my being.

Left drained and fulfilled
Life's intentions bloomed inside me
and at once i felt at home in a darkened room.

Do not panic,
please breathe deep,
I beg you to hold your tongue,
I too have words to speak,
   no one to listen,
       and little faith in Prophecy.

You must create something elaborate
Twirling your fingers around like ribbons
Weaving together magic and wonder
Gliding gracefully, this is your stage
You are alone in the light, with yourself
Wearing robes of imagination & frivolity
Sliding across, dancing a beautiful dance
You're not paying attention, swallowed by your mind
You don't notice what is slowly creeping from behind
Dark robed figures inching up towards your back
So many, with masks of clay and paper mache
Painted ****** red and black
With hollow eyes and hunched over spines
Each with a grisly word painted on their chests
Each reads something different, something awful
You have to keep yourself busy or you begin to crumble
So you don't notice what they say, you don't see them

Let me be the one to lift your spirits,
to tend to your injured ego.

Allow me to mend your bleeding heart.
to dry your salty tears.

I wish to be the one you find comfort from.
I want to cause you to forget the cruel past
and to forget old fears.

when your faith & confidence are strong,
when your smile and laughter are abundant,
when your eyes & spirit sparkle again,
when your happy and strong.

Will you fly away on your merry way?
Will you let me be the one?

I take delight from the suffering
dwelling in madness
when driven far from compassion
no light will take away the darkness

There is no quick silent torture beyond the soul
and on to the flesh
Reason falls from trembling lips
on to deaf ears

Burning hate
like love set on fire
passionate to the grave
ashes over the desire

Savored by the cold and sharp
believe in a savior
who will leave you in the dark
to answer your prayers

Feel your heart beating with hope
maybe it's all a dream
but you won't truly awaken
not to a soundless scream

You will see my burning heart
when the day will come
I am the last star
before you see the sun

Is it all a dream or is it real
not knowing the difference between pain and fear
and either way it stings when you can feel
everything you were afraid of reflecting in your tears

I shall call you my dream
you will see me again
not remembering me
as you never do and it will never end

Infamous one
Cat
The cat eats and sleep
Very selective you could be sad
No where to be found
When the cat gives you attention
They are hungry or decided they like you
You pet the cat they leave
The cat hides out you forget you have one
The cat meows for attention
They want you on your terms
The claws scratch when they play

I lit a cigarette to watch it burn down
Instead of filling my lungs with it slowly
The tendrils kept my thoughts at bay, for now
Fingers shook as my brain began to cloud
But smoke is always inescapable
Without putting it to my lips, I lost
Misery made me completely star-crossed

The coin slides in
Everything is a reminder
Over-magnified again
Thumb print faces
Blurred by my unsteady hands
Leaving shadowy traces
Heart pressing on ribs as it expands

Sitting in class, looking around,
I feel a little man climbing up my face by hair.
He has on tiny sharp shoes
And they dig into my skin
I wince as he clambers up my cheek
He rests only for a moment
Thinking.
He gets fistfuls of my eyelashes
Tugs & tugs & tugs
I feel the weight of him &
My eye closes gratefully
He moves to the other
Making a mirror action
And it's all gone from there
Now he dances in my dream
He might have climbed
Into my ear while I wasn’t looking
