Regret
Divine Mar 2018
My mind craves for a glimpse of your company
Just a thought of you and my heart sinks in agony
What have I done?

I run, I scream, all in my dreams
But I've missed the bus ride that beams
The colors of our hearts
Where has she gone?

We should be together
All through forever
Riding until never
Drowning in our love fever
Holding on to you my lever
As we grove to moon river

What have I done!!!
This is me being salty with my feelings

The Dare To Reveal
Divine Jul 2017
To reveal or not to reveal that’s the question,
Whether ‘tis right to cut my tongue
And blind my ever witnessing eyes to the police
About the ****** of this innocent stranger
Or to reveal, to speak, to **** my best friend
With my very own tongue of witness?
My conscience tells me ‘tis right to reveal,
Okay, perhaps I reveal, what then happens to our friendship?
Do I get welcomed to his funeral as the man who gave up
His best friend of over ten years, for a stranger
Who I barely know and even does not know me?
What then happens to trust and loyalty?
What would be the songs on the lips of people when they
Read about me in the papers or watch me on TV?
Perhaps I do not reveal my best friend’s sin
Do I then have the blood of this stranger stained
On the walls of my conscience till eternity?
Will the woes and tears of his loved one’s rain curses on me?
Not to mention the cries of an innocent blood reaching out to me,
Its only hope of justice.
I must do what is right, and keep my ways pure for the Almighty,
For I too would be judged.
I pray so that my best friend, my rock, my shoulder in time of sorrow,
Understands that honesty and righteousness makes peace
Reign on this filthy earth.
