In the depths of your emotions
my heart swims free
DieingEmbers Mar 2013
You took my breath away
for a souvenier
and kept it in a shell
to hold against your ear
to hear again sweet nothings
in the night or endless day
and to hear I love you whispered
as I in turn... take your breath away
DieingEmbers May 2013
You're the air
that fills my lungs
with

every kiss.
DieingEmbers Nov 2012
My love for you knows no boundaries
nor border guards with hastened shouts
for my heart forged in foundries
from sheer trust and carefree doubts

Let them levy heavy tax and toll
They'll ner' stop me getting through
for I must be where er' thy soul
for my heart longs to fly to you

Speak not of laws and reasoned thought
make no excuse that sounds like fact
for I must find what I've long sought
and on this need I need now act

So let them lower barriers down
and set up here their ****** blockade
I'll always find a way around
for my heart once sent cannot be staid

Prepare for war ye whom would stop me
be sure of this I'll win these fights
for over there lies liberty
and an end to all my lonely nights

So Take up arms increase thy number
imprison rights with red tape bars
but justice wakes from enforced slumber
as moon let's rain her falling stars

No boundaries no Borders hold me
when I can call upon your heart
to meet me where no one can stop thee
where we are one er' when apart.

So come to me and let me know this
that you would too break down their Walls
sign this treaty with thy sweet kiss
and hear my heart when er' it calls

As a moth to the flame

your love

engulfed me.
DieingEmbers Oct 2012
Walk with me
through the ending of the day

as sunsets embers burn
beneath our feet
in fallen reds and golds

Yet
fear not the flame
for it's warmth is beautiful.
DieingEmbers Oct 2012
Kamikaze moth
with the tie- dyed wings
joined with the flame at midnight
as an angel sings
We all say we'd die for love but could we ever match the moths convictions. The angel sings is the noise after the moth ignites a strange exhale of breath sound.

You playfully
tease your hair
back over your ears
and smile that bubblegum smile,
your tongue
in the corner of your mouth
you're thinking...

a penny for them I say
you laugh
and turn away blushing.

I reach for you
but pause
taking time to take you in...

breathing you in
upon a floral scented breeze

your hair is buttercups and daisies
tied in poesies
with chocolate box ribbons

your summer dress is dreamtime
sewn anew
from bedroom curtains

your bare feet freedom and frivolity
nails painted green
poking fun at conformity

and you...

You are mine as much as a man can own the wind
or tame the wild mountain river

but you are mine
and I...

I am yours until such time as you no longer love me.

What sick twist
of fates cruel knife...
could show me love beyond my grasp
and nightly
taunt my fevered soul
with
her sweet kiss and image fair.

What evil
here beneath this sun...
could ****
my eyes my heart
my love
for love of one beyond compare.

Then give me hell
and punish me
flay my skin and burn my bone
but first
one kiss
of her rose lips
the sin for which I must atone.

One touch would set the stars aflame
and rend
the veil that
blinds thine eyes
and gives
my heart the stolen wings
from kisses born
of butterflies.
DieingEmbers Jan 2013
My sweet butterfly
emerges
from night spun
silk cocoon...

unabashed and naked

framed softly
within the first rays
of morning

her lace wings
fluttering
gently within the breeze

she turns to alight
once more
beside
my recumbent form

and bowing her head
she shares again
the sweetest of nectar

within her butterfly kisses.
Butterfly kisses are when a woman bats her eyelids gently tickling the mans skin

I cannot say I love you
as sweetly
as the rain tells the flowers

nor can I caress you
as softly
as the breeze does the flowers

I cannot warm you
as the sun warms the flowers

nor cradle you as tightly
as the soil does the flowers

but I can nurture our love
as tenderly as I do my flowers

for no flower in my garden
is as beautiful as you

wisps of perfumed steam
slow dance
by candle light
casting soft shadows
upon drawn bathroom blind.
Rose petals float lazily
kissing the contours
of your silken skin
as you dream
in wisps of perfumed steam
slow dancing.

She had lips
to hang my words upon
wreathed
in smoke and half spoken promises...

her accent
accentuated my need
to taste her words
overlapping my own
in one sweet

kiss.

If I must bleed for you.... I will

willingly take the lashing

of their wagging tongues

let them mock me and cast me down

they cannot break me

I will always rise up again

hang me high for your cross examinations

brought you no closer to the truth

white dove against the darkness offered light

why then could you not see

I love you.

Carbonated kisses tickle my tongue
as steel edged lips
force me to tilt back my head
exposing my neck,
my adams apple bobbing
as i am soda-nised
gulping for air.

My hands slowly fondling your wetted curves

Come once more
fill my throat and make me gag

each fluid movement
enflames my aroused senses

slate my thirst
bring me to the edge of pleasure
my sweet

indulge me once more

with carbonated kisses.

I lay my face against thine own
here captured within the moment
within the gentle indentation...

soft cotton kisses taken
freely and frequently
from pillow puffed lips

as traces of your unique scent remain
to ease your absence

my fingers playfully tease your hair
left as if a love token
amongst the yet warm creases
of your immaterial form

I smile with eyes now wet
yet shed no tears
for sadness alludes me in these moments
of solitary joy

for you are not gone from me
as long as I can hold you close

as I have done so many nights
with hewed hands
that caress with such tendeness
your features

here captured forever in my heart.

You suffer with depression

yet it's I

taking the meds.
Our families and loved ones suffer from our depression be it because they feel unable to help or because we say things hurtful things we just don't mean

then upon my shoulders or piggy back
then later in my wallet smiling

I will always carry you

let me be your cello
held soft between your thighs,
that you may draw forth music
in wanton heavy sighs.
My body held there closely
as your fingers make me fret,
my bow would be throbbing
as with oil you hold it wet.
Your scent strong upon me
as you rub against my grain,
playing with me a sweet duet
of pleasure and of pain.

She handed me her misery
within a paper bag
a pair of shoes a pipe well used
and half an ounce of ****

one jacket tweed badly in need
of needle and of thread
well worn blue slacks and mints three packs
and teeth without a head

a watch and fob engraved to Bob
that had seen better times
a crucifix some well thumbed pics
two dollars and five dimes

She smiled and said my lovers dead
but here within my breast
he lives and breaths and never leaves
until I'm too at rest

with that she rose and touched her nose
as if a secret shared
then without fuss she left the bus
knowing a stranger cared

The watch I wind with her in mind
the pipe I've puffed upon
because you see she lives in me
and now I pass her on
I often frequent charity shops and markets buying watches I have quite a few old ones and they inspired this

not because he liked them

Charlie the gnome needed a home
and so he looked around,
the garden shed too big he said
and too high off the ground.

The bar b que would never do
the ash would make me sneeze,
so on I go look high look low
in and around the trees.

The bird box white would be too tight
with chicks that chirp and cheep,
and constant song the whole day long
I'd never get to sleep.

The kennels large but then there's Sarge
and all his smelly toys,
plus after dark he likes to bark
and make a lot of noise.

The house I found is out of bound
too many folk in there,
so I'll stay out and look about
as I don't like to share.

A wooden crate there by the gate
would make a perfect home,
it's not too small or wide nor tall
it's just right for this gnome.

I need a door and windows four
some carpet and a bed,
a rocking chair would look good there
or maybe there instead.

Yes this is fine and it's all mine
with roses all around,
the place it seems straight from my dreams
is what I think I've found.

Charlie the gnome no more will roam
his house is warm and bright,
with flower beds of blues and reds
and picket fence of white.

A wooden crate down by the gate
Ignore line at bottom can't seem to delete it lol

You look a picture
framed
by bathroom door...

my modern Cleopatra
risen
scented with milk
from coconut.

Your hair and body bound
by exotic weave...

you sway and bend
like Nile reed
or weathered wheat
still wet
from waters kiss...

as I add mine
to perfumed skin
given a taste
of heaven
in slow descent
to cardinal sin.

I no Caeser no Mark Anthony
nor would I be
when I the asp am clasped
to her sweat breast
and bid to
bite...

in fained death amongst
egyptain cotton laid
my love my life
as I prepare this night
to make of her...

a mummy.

Come in the coffees on
remove your shoes
curl your toes
relax...

here upon my lap
where workday worries melt
softly away
as you lay your head against my heart.

Can you hear it whisper
softly your name?

Your breathing steadies into rhtymn
with my own
your hand rests gently on my shoulder
mouthing I love you

you sleep...

I inhale your hair
relaxing
into our nightly routine
