I saw her at the edge of the water
Where the waves crash then roll out smooth.
She was dipping in, backing out, unsure of the powerful sea.

I saw him looking back at her.
Checking to see
If she could do it on her own.

I saw him rush and scoop her in his arms,
Confidently he scooped her up
Lovingly he cradled her in the deep
And I could see her relax into him.

And instantly I saw us! I realized that that's what you have done for me so many times, when the water is rough-
You scoop me up and protect me with your love!

One thing I know
Very few
Will get to be a mother again
In heaven
I will be  lucky enough
to experience it twice
Once on earth
Second in the skies

I knew it

We dance randomly to our own list-
Perform on stage to encourage and inspire
And sing passionately not realizing we're out of tune,
Now we write these lines of love
Our new artistic  endeavor
I hope this renaissance love lasts for ever!

Lately I've seen you ( in my daydreams) sitting on top of the desk, feet up on the chair.
Your arm on your knee and hand under you chin supporting your head.
Your wearing your  pink shirt and jeans. Your chest  is kinda hunched forward creating a space that seems to invite me in. It's afternoon so the light in the room comes only from the sun, the way I like it. But you  also seem to be radiating this warm, red light. It's drawing me in, into that space-that "cave like" space in front of you. The look in your eyes is loving and the color of your eyes  a lovely autum m like  yellow brown. You say "come here baby" and I do.
I fit perfectly in that loving safe space. The darkness in me is drawn to the lightness of you. And that's when I'm calm. I'm home.  Surrounded by your loving energy.

Do you know that feeling-
The feeling when saying "I love you"
Is simply not enough
Simply not enough to express
what has got a hold of your heart.

Oh, I fear I'm there!
And I hope my lover knows that
every time I say I love him
I wish it had the all the power of
the first time I'd ever said it.

Then he would know how much I love him so.

Why do you laugh?  You were looking at me in this "different"way at the bar. No one was around and I could feel something coming on, something stirring. And you said "I think I..". And I cut you off and gasped and said "oh noooooooo" and you said
"I do, I think I'm in love with you." And I could and couldn't believe it. At that moment I felt so beautiful,so happy yet so scared about us and our future.
But today I thank god that you love me and feel that we are truly,madly, deeply in love.

And in just  a couple of months
I had me some
Some romance of the troubling kind
                          Not that I really mind

                 all that average **** behind.

Isn't it amazing how the truth flies out
Especially when it's to save another
No doubt

We are surrounded by drama it seems
It rips us apart
And we both struggle to put it back together
I look to the sky and say
How much longer can we do this
This wicked game
Who will bow out
Who will cave
I just end up so afraid...
