The hope, the love and the broken
We hope for the best
Crave the love
And end up broken in the process
The hope we strive for leads us
Towards the love we always wanted
Only to have it torn apart and broken
So we stop the hope
The love is lost and forgotten
And somehow we still end up broken
It’s maybe fate it ends up that way
Time and time again hope, Love, being broken
We settle for reality and lose all hope
Love being a false tale
Feeling lost and broken a way of life
No matter how high the hope
And how much the love is
The emptiness is there
Not a sign of sadness or lost of life
Oh no it’s more of a state of mind
Past hope and lost love
tears the heart apart again and again
So we stop searching and hoping
And when the good comes along the way
We are fearful
We are scared
Because we lost all hope and love
The fine line between real and fake
It’s all there all the time
We can’t shake the feeling
And we can’t escape it
The eyes see the good
The heart senses the good
But the mind
Oh the mind is skeptical
And that’s when the broken
And emptiness lingers
the hope and love is vanishing
Because we forgot about the existence
Now we are left with fear and questions
If all hope and love is lost
How will we believe that it is real
We don’t
We don’t believe
We hope and we love
And that is what keeps us from being broken
All at the same time
The hope and the love breaks us

Body
What lies deep inside of me
That the whole world cant see
Is it my broken heart
Hanging and torn apart
is it the mind scrambled around
Maybe the secrets that were never found
It could be the endless lies
That rest behind my eyes
Closed mouth unable to speak
My hands closed pray my soul to keep
The soft steps I take to stay hidden
Ears to listen to the stories that are forbidden
The graps of the wrist to keep from leaving
Stomach aches and pains due to disbelieving
Or is it my soul in which was lost along the way
The world will never know what it really is I have to say
Rosey nose and blushed cheeks
Signs of a love that one seeks
Chest pounding at every breath
Could be the brain fighting death
The world will see only a brief image
Of a girl whose life only mimics
What lies deep inside me
That the world can only see
A body of a tamed dream
But deep inside is all screams
