Deedee Matins Mar 2015
My voice as sweet as honey,
My words dripping with venom.
I whisper words of comfort,
While my eyes say other.

I may look like a sheep,
But others know better.
Under these charming smiles,
A beast lays in slumber.

Revenge will be sweet-
With the taste of venom
Deedee Matins Mar 2015
A pen in hand she sleeps,
Her dreams drawn across paper
Her heart as light as a feather

A smile upon her face
The destination doesn't matter
Feelings, dreams & life in ink

Opening her eyes
She realizes her life flew by
In a blink of an eye the portrait is finished
Leaving her behind as the stage lights shut off
Deedee Matins Mar 2015
Consumed by rage
A dragon of a girl stomps
Her words scorch those ahead
In a moment of a fury
She harms those she cares for
Broken promises fuel the flame
Her face a rainbow of sin
Green with envy, turns red with wrath
Magma bubbles out of her eyes

Frustrated with life the salty tears dull the wrath
Sitting on the ground she is nothing more then ash
Sickly pale and tired
Her wrath reduced to sloth
Sleep bruises her eyes and she sleeps
allowing her rage & it's path to crumble away.
Deedee Matins Mar 2015
Swallow the rage
Choke on it's pain
Gasping for air
But nobody cares

Knotted firsts,
Swelling eyes ,
Bite on your lips
Sit and wait
calmness takes
Blink your eyes
Turn a new page
