and thought that maybe
you could too, but in the end
words were never enough
and neither was I.

My love would not heal you,
it would not bring rest to weary bones,
nor set you on fire with passion.

I will not be like your past lovers
or you favorite book
I do not know how to love like that.

But I would love you poetry
and broken words for that is all I have.
Yet, we both know that is not enough.

I slipped on the ***** of mistaken disorders
Whispered my love in the palm of her hand
Watched as she waved from the ship born to meet her
Standing alone in a cavern of sand

Please stop trusting me.
I love you but you think that's a good thing.
It's not.

Stay away from me.
Don't you know that I'm poison?

Things don't work out for me.

They won't.

I love you so much more than you could ever know.
Go away.

I've met boys like you.
Sweet, so sweet.
I've met three, to be exact.
It took a year for the third
Three months for the second
Just a day for the first
To hurt me.
All three in different ways.
All three haunting me.
Part of me wonders how long it will take for you
To hurt me.
A bigger part of me doesn't want to find out.

When we are not right,
Everything tastes stale.
When we are not together,
The Earth stops spinning.
When we are not us,
The world is grey.
When are are not,
Nothing exists only you.
