"Stranger things have happened" they say.
Well no, not really.
This is so weird, but I think I'm liking it

How do you live
when the world turns upside down?
And gravity is the only thing
that cares enough to hold you.
This.. this is odd

Breathe

The weight of the world is off your shoulders now, dear
Lift your beautiful head and hold it high
Demand the respect you know you deserve

Oh, but don't forget to breathe

Smile that smile that is as bright as the sun,
and make sure he sees you when you do
Turn every head in the room with your confidence

Just be sure to breathe

When you cry, do it proudly and without reservation
Show the whole world how strong you are
You are unbreakable. You are not a footnote

Now take a moment to breathe
So, this is actually about me breaking up with my boyfriend. I CAN FINALLY BREATHE

Raj Arumugam
so I brought my writer wife
(prominently pregnant)
to the hospital
and on her bed, she screamed:
"weren't" "hasn't" "couldn't" "shan't"
"aint" "hadn't" "you're" "isn't"
"aren't" "didn't" "wasn't"
"who's?" "what's?" "he's" "she's"

The doctors were confounded
and they turned to me and they said:
"What the hell is she doing?"

And I replied with double speed
and a violent sense of urgency:
*"Don't you know?
She's having contractions -
she's a writer"

In the meadows where trees are seldom,
purple flowers congregate.
Their petals flutter as they mutter
hidden by the breeze.
In the meadow where trees are seldom,
purple flowers congregate
Their stems contort as they abort
dew from their leaves.
In the meadows are purple flowers.
Are those flowers free?

It was in a moment
Between
the pause of the clock's tick.
the exhalation and stalling of your breathing
the pumping of blood before the next beat of your heart.
It was in a moment I realized

                           *It's time to wake up
