fierce winds have scolded the land
they show no let up

Dazed Dreaming
I couldn't even tell you what I was thinking if you asked me right now.
I'm on autopilot...
Have been for a while.
I ache for sleep.
Its 3am...
and here I am...
Awake..
While the world sleeps.
I wonder what tomorrow will bring...
I wish I could think of other things...

But....
The bad things that seep into your brain...
Late at night awaiting to be over analyzed....
have been locked down.
sealed off
and theres no way in....

And thats fine...
I'll watch the stars fade through my window pane, and wait for the sunrise to catch my very sleepy
unrested eyes.

Today's my birthday and I think
That tonight I deserve a drink
Me, the Mrs,a couple of bottles of wine
I'm 45 and I am feeling fine

We've got a couple of friends  come to visit
The drinks go around, the stories go with it
A happy time is had by all
As the night outside it falls

It feels good to be 45
****, I'm glad just to be alive
Nightclubs are no longer my thing
Just friends sitting around, having a drink

But to be honest now, I wish they'd go
So me and my wife could be alone
My hospitality only goes so far
Now I'm ready to throw them into their car

I am a living breathing being
on journey.
Air cool to face
breath merging with moment
sky tickling eyes.

My soul awakes,
as energies touches heart.
Feet move gracefully.
Eyes open wide.
Colors become vibrate.

I am a living expanding being,
on journey.
Stars speak with grace.
Light integrates with dark.
Gifts align to explore.

My soul sings
as light carries wisdom.
Ears ring with song.
Body tingles energizing.
Feelings explode within.

I now know all things
trees, rocks, animals,
people, even weeds
are on journey
having story to tell.

Time to open hearts champaign
with breath of life.
Time to celebrate
every moment connected
with all in unity and love.

Reading a slim book of poetry
Of life and it's mutability
Poems from inside of
A safe, cosy middle class cocoon
The words have no sharp edges
To burst the balloon
Poems about flowers
To while away the hours
Between the visit of the vicar
And the next *** of tea
Not poetry for you and me
Or anything like reality
Poetry as a gentle hobby
Like baking
Or flower arranging
Not poetry from the gut
That comes raging
Like fists planted upon the page
Poems of love or loss or rage
But tenderly placing
Each word on the page
Like a delicate flower to be arranged
I don't hate the woman
Who wrote this stuff
For her this obviously is enough
I envy her easy life
It's lack of struggle
It's lack of strife
Perhaps one day it will be me
Writing of such superficialities
When I'm fat, well fatter
Rich and content
And all of my life- force has been spent
I will sit in my garden and smell the flowers
Then while away my hours
On my hobby, writing poetry
Between the visit of the vicar
And my next *** of tea

Encoded within light is my essence.
The essence of love.
It is from my soul
from my whole self
who moves in divine wholeness.

The very fabric of my being radiates
as more energies anchor in heart.
The very truth of who I am
has now been shown to me
as I no longer walk on eggshells
to please others.

I have found a new formula to live by.
I have arrived to a place where I live in heart
in human vessel.
Live peaceful and serene.

Born
Am here
Maybe I was here
Writing you a sturdy poem
Screaming about something
Nothing
Sometimes
Am confused about religion
Religious thoughts, religion beings
That she hates
And I hate that she hates
But why does she hate
Ugh too much hate in gratification
and that pungent smell
Of love
Mostly "loved"
Coated in hypocrisy
Of belief and  change
but for a penny
Or a few dollars
and the perfect orator
For your hearts
For your minds.
For the sake of politics
I'll shred your soul
but only if you don't mind
him being gay
Or lame
Or late for my crucifixion
Of inauguration
That was acquired through
Illegalities of power
hungry
She said
I can't love a broke man
that feeds me more lines
on a monsters ink
that you've woven
and left in my bed
for me to fall in love
With your raw
Open heart
that keeps fighting
racism
and equal rights
for women
against elite tyrants

You got to forgive me
I am only a man
Hungry hard
Active glands
Shallow depths
Eye that roam
Please have mercy
And let me come home!
