Greta sat alone that day,
Presence more than words could say.
And in the time that's passed since then,
Greta's warned us again and again
The time is now, we need to act;
Earth is in danger, that's an urgent fact

Power tells us there's nothing we can do,
We're too small to see changes through;
But Greta won't cower for lying buffoons,
Their disdain of her only self impugns;
The earth is for all, from tiny to massive,
Those who can speak can't remain passive

If one girl's message can gain velocity,
One girl's uncensored words unveil atrocity,
It's hard to feel that hope's not there
When together we act, together we dare
To demand action, demand accountability;
Then maybe we'll survive past this century

who would choose to be alive at Worlds end
that terrible event
who would push the World closer to that end
except the bi-pedal ape man
who came down from shelter in the trees
and returned with fire and an axe.

South-by-Southwest
Pine pitch perfect
oozing out on bark
Flowing down in amber thin lines so stark

Mad made moon
Sitting in the dust
Drinking gin and pink Kool Aid
Hollow as a husk

Dancing dusk til dawn
Orchestrating out of time
The tide is rising fast
Racing down a line

Traveler
Neon lights
Bleed my eyes
I've lost sight
I can only rhyme
Whispering voices
Long day gone
Residue of life
Where’d we go wrong
Giving we gave
Taken we took
Sinners and savior
All in one book
And so we read on
There's no end
To our songs!

...I have left this ****** nightmare
In my wake but out of sight
All I want is deviation by design

Out of all the past confusion
Out of all the common spite
Just tell me I am yours 'cause you are mine

(a group of 10 words)

Vast surfaces of blue-green
oceans still capture eyes,
create sighs...

its salt-scented sea breeze,
and salty waters...offer
natural healing...

less chemicals, meant
fresh air
less dreaded diseases,
safer lives...

nobody expected...that one day,
malevolent winds and rains
would

grow seeds of
discontent....animosity
on fertile soil and minds...

a peace-loving, compassionate,
world......turned paranoid,
people learned...became wary,

of feigned smiles and handshakes,
inanimate...and spiritless,
like plastic...

Traveler
My wall are covered with
Beautiful things
Dream catchers
Suns and planets
Loki and Zeus
  The mark of Cain...
I love my
Statues of Buddha
Figures of Christ
Paintings of ships at sea
Guitars and amps
Keyboards and drums
More than I could ever need...
Outside my windows
Lives the Trees
Sweet sounds
Of birds and bees
My aesthetic impairment
Has set me free

BLACK
Sheets of empty canvas, untouched sheets of clay
Were laid spread out before me as her body once did
All five horizons revolved around her soul as the earth to the sun
Now the air I tasted and breathed has taken a turn, ooh
And all I taught her was everything
Ooh, I know she gave me all that she wore
Too doo doo doo
Too doo doo
.........
