'Well, I try my best, To be just like I am, But everybody wants you, To be just like them
They say sing while you slave and I just get bored'* RZ or Bob Dylan
Tho the truth is I see,
it is our choice whereby
we are willing to take our lot
with a chance that we might be
some of the few that may make what
only a few can on one hand achieve where,

Never mind what rigging you believe in or not on the other, anyone can...
still this is more our choice I believe which we refer to 'the or some system'

Tho this same system near any one world over
will (not just could) truly allow the real options of our choosing's.

Had or have we clear choice perhaps we would.
Some see better than others, others all other gifts.

We are all overly realized enough for a much more rewarding reality of life on this planet.
We must be sure about what's not right, not going to work, what or how we must be the change, changing.

Perhaps we need a bit more time or series of awakenings hopefully not having to be overly rude overdue...
We maybe having more and more of one experience from only 7 billion of the infinitely possible perspectives,
as time marches on and off....

*Tho all I know is what I see and can believe will only be
Part of at least 7 billion may be's!!!
Robert A Zimmerman, RAZ aka Bob Dylan's - Maggie's Farm

I ain’t gonna work on Maggie’s farm no more
No, I ain’t gonna work on Maggie’s farm no more
Well, I wake in the morning
Fold my hands and pray for rain
I got a head full of ideas
That are drivin’ me insane
It’s a shame the way she makes me scrub the floor
I ain’t gonna work on Maggie’s farm no more

I ain’t gonna work for Maggie’s brother no more
No, I ain’t gonna work for Maggie’s brother no more
Well, he hands you a nickel
He hands you a dime
He asks you with a grin
If you’re havin’ a good time
Then he fines you every time you slam the door
I ain’t gonna work for Maggie’s brother no more

I ain’t gonna work for Maggie’s pa no more
No, I ain’t gonna work for Maggie’s pa no more
Well, he puts his cigar
Out in your face just for kicks
His bedroom window
It is made out of bricks
The National Guard stands around his door
Ah, I ain’t gonna work for Maggie’s pa no more

I ain’t gonna work for Maggie’s ma no more
No, I ain’t gonna work for Maggie’s ma no more
Well, she talks to all the servants
About man and God and law
Everybody says
She’s the brains behind pa
She’s sixty-eight, but she says she’s twenty-four
I ain’t gonna work for Maggie’s ma no more

I ain’t gonna work on Maggie’s farm no more
No, I ain’t gonna work on Maggie’s farm no more
Well, I try my best
To be just like I am
But everybody wants you
To be just like them
They say sing while you slave and I just get bored
I ain’t gonna work on Maggie’s farm no more

Love fades
Tears turns to blood
That won't stop dripping from eyes
Buried soul, heart, and life
Break the bodies
Lock the way out
Which can't be open anymore
Swimming to the depth
Travel to the unknown
Walking without body, without soul
Memories.......
That's all what left
Never been able to find the keys
To unlock the door
Trapped in this world
Full of pain and misery
Forever

Until that moment
When I wake up and realize that's only a dream
Now I'm wide awake
Free from my haunting nightmares
I'm sick, ohhh, this is felt so bad. This is my nightmare on the most horrible night I ever been through.

CRIMSON
Colors explode
As the sumac stands sentinel over the ebbing rays of the sun
Shepherding away *Niibin
to make room for Dagwaagin
Standing, alone, in a sea of green
Sumac heralds the changing season
And like an artistic wild fire
Is the first in what will become a palette of chromatic vibrancy

Sensing the subtle change
Mother deer, her two fawns and yearling
Meandering through the sumac grove
Make haste of the fading green buffet
Mother Bear and her cubs, now a year stronger and wiser
Gorge on honey and berries as they ready for their winter's sleep
Red-Winged Blackbirds, Robins and Sandhill Cranes congregate en masse
Hummingbird drinks the final drops of nectar
In anticipation of their journey south
In advance...of the returning white Biboon blanket

The clock of Mother Earth is precise
And the natural world follows her timely rhythms
As southerly and westerly winds shift to the north
Eagle soars high above...the yet unfrozen river
Vivid foliage slowly falls to the forest floor
Creating an intricate insulating tapestry for those below
In the meadow, swaying in the wind, stands a solitary Daisy
It's single yellow petal defying the departure of longer days

Harvest moon shimmers through bare branches
Dancing, tapping in rhythmic fashion, upon a quiet window
Stirring *Misigami
from her reverie
Outside her window, a lone black figure, a Lobo, like her
Acknowledges her presence, blurring the lines of consciousness
Signifying that dreams do come true
And that through the change of seasons
We grow
We become stronger
Wiser
And are given the true gift...of forever being...

...Hopeful

(c) 2013 Shawn White Eagle
The fourth, and final installment, of my seasonal poems, that I hope U have enjoyed.  Most of what has been written can be seen from the window as I write, while other parts, and imagery, have been personal in nature.  One thing I have kept in mind with these pieces is that as the seasons change, the cycle of life never abates, and that we really are just along for the ride.  Even though we cannot control how Mother Earth operates...one thing is a constant with each season...is that each, in it's own way, always provides that bright ray of hope. :-)

Sing to me, sing to me night,
   for I hark!
The cry of the owl,
   the hail of the lark;
   the kiss of the wind
   from blackness so stark;

Sing to me, sing,
   cheers of the dark.

Speak to me, speak to me
   'fore morn bereaves
   the rustling footsteps
   from dances of leaves
   as twinkling stars peek
   through high forest eaves

Speak to me, speak
   as night the moon cleaves.

I tie the perfect noose
Pull tight on the cord
Kick the chair from underneath me
As my feet both touch the floor

I take the electric toaster
Set it on the edge of the tub
Knock it into the water
But forget to plug in the plug

Laid myself down on the train tracks
Waiting for the 9:05
Little did I know my watch had stopped
Right at a quarter till 9:00

I step out into traffic
Sure this is my last deed in life
Not knowing it was a crosswalk
And I was at a red light

I found the tallest building
On my city block
Made my way to the top floor
Where none of the windows unlocked

Never had such a hard time in life
Trying to do myself in
Apparently I need a new tactic
Apparently I need a new plan

Think I'll just go to bed
Catch me some much needed winks
Maybe when I wake up
I'll have died in my sleep

My mind is always running between first and last,
Highs and lows
Trying to discover the secrets of life,
Secrets that no one else knows

My mind doesn't know when it's made up
Or when it's undone
Always searching the depths of forever,
And forever it'll run

My mind is in constant wonder
Looking for messages where no messages lie
I don't suppose it'll ever stop,
Not even when I die

But death is a funny thing, you know
We think it's here, then it goes
Coming much too fast, coming much too slow

My mind is always running between first and last
My mind knows nothing
My minds forgot about the past

My mind is made up on me and you
There's no changing it, it'll fight till its blue
My mind is a quiet and crazy place that I wish you could see
My mind is a master of fools
The biggest one being me

Hypnotized by you,
I am drowning,
Day by day.

In the emotion,
Of your love,
Gleefully.

I'm drowning wilfully,
Really not to be save,
Listen when I say.

Effortlessly I let my body sink,
Not struggling at all to escape,
I only fear distance from you.

Not the physical distance,
But the distance of hearts,
A distance of heartbreaks.

You say similar things,
Claiming I stole your heart,
An eternal truth this we share.

Dreaming on & on,
We even struggle often,
Our struggle goes on & on.

Looking into these calm dark eyes,
On your face full of beauty & truth,
I gain an escape from worldly lies.

You claim I jinxed you the first time,
So true- weren't we bound to meet,
It's just Time choreographed this.

I can't easily refute the blame,
After all I am an equal partner,
In this lyrical life & this game.

So I bear morally equal liability,
As we observe our love garner,
After all I am older than you.

We can't give into these tough times,
Not now, today, tomorrow nor ever,
For our relationship is a challenge.

A challenge for changing our world it is,
A bright change for a brighter future,
A betterment of your & my lives.

I know you're with me in life,
I know you're surely lighter,
I know you're much young.

Younger than my experience,
Younger than my sad lifespan,
Younger than my reborn avatar.

Happier than my own best happy,
Happier than my ever-so-pale face,
Happier than my knowledge can be.
A post-poem note:

Along the way I sprint hypnotized,
Along the Angel imparting me strength,
Along you my Angel - not alone as I had been.

My first 17-paragraph poem. I guess I'll call it a Decaseptolet poem.

I invented my first distinct style.

Step in and rest wearily
Your troubles here are the best
Every image your fear does possess

Such pretty illusions
Poses and all sweet scents
Where too are all the roses

And the thorns they don't bite
When you're safe from all your doubts
In this room comfort seeps deceptively

Till your dead
From the inside
Out is but a grave

In the comfort zone
Artificially boxed restrained
Air short getting shorter waning

All the once pretty flowers
Their colours run down dreary
Till sludge is climbing up your legs

No lock no key but deception
Has claimed another chapter
Of what life may still claim

Time for motion of ones will
What does willingness will for
With some distressing emotion

A heartful of determination
Shall give rise to some clever
Quick thoughts in desperation

Beware of your next step
That such is beyond the

Zone...

Of deathly comfort!!!

clap for mashed potatoes
gravy on the side

ketchup smothered
is how i like my fries

love a baked potato
stuffed with everything

even like them broiled
butter and sour cream

hash browns grilled with onions
get my taste buds jumping

sometimes like them fancied
dressed up in au gratin

slurping of the soup
sprinkled down with parsley

even eat them raw sometimes
though the taste is gnarly

smoked me a tater once
living on the farm

followed around the little animals
till the cows came home

Everyone has choices in life
And make them every day
Small decisions like what to eat
And big ones like go or stay

Each and every decision
Presents a different path
With tons of decisions every day
Well, you can do the math

Who knows what would change
If we could redo what's already passed
"...If that one thing had been different?"
A question we've all asked

If you were given the opportunity
Would you change an event so small
Would you really take that chance
When that little thing could change it all

Sometimes when life gets bad
We want to take it all back
We wish that things were different
And want to try a different track

After doing lots of thinking
I think we are where we're meant to be
On the road to greater things
We just have to be patient and see

My once quiet eyes scream at the presence of your face
Calling for your attention, a reaction, just anything would do.
They will speak in any language
and they will speak louder than any words that leave my lips,
for very few words leave them,
as they are scared of what you'll think.
Though my eyes will always be calling for you, and maybe one day you will hear them.
