Hidden candles

Where the thirteenth stood waiting above
Between two sides
Of the same dark river of light
One foot in the water
One foot in the sand
The water flowed down from Heaven
And turned against itself
Blown forward and back
By the winds of time
Darkness against darkness
Electricity began to sparkle in the water
Six mirrors turned against six mirrors
Lightning struck twelve times
Melting the sand that fell from the sky as stars
And turning it to invisible glass
Twelve spheres that joined at the centre
Where was hidden
Nothing
In the beginning

Sun is my father
He brings me light
Earth is my mother
I speak with her voice
Moon is my other
We keep the balance
Sky is the ancestor
From whence we have come
They light my way

The Outside Void Spills Over

When you're a centrist
Everyone agrees
Cause everybody thinks you're wrong

When you're a centrist

And bring them just a little toward the middle

Make a chain that snakes its way across the middle

Before they know it they're all entwined

There is so much
Space here in the middle

Without this dichotomy

Shifting just a little toward the middle

There aren't that many sitting on the sides

Why not get up and move around
And mingle just a little in the middle?
