The arctic storm kicks into fourth gear
the scientist in huts huddle within
they have found something in the ice
it's ****** tall and does not look very nice

The creature looks like something out of the ugly ark
so way, way out of the ball park
they leave a chap to keep a lookout with it
while the rest get on with duties and bits

Then later that night as the cold dark fell
scientist in their bunks heard a yell
bleary eyed they fall out of their beds
rushing to their sentinal, only to find him dead

The creature has escaped it's frozen prison

It's treacherous on these roads

it was like love at first sight

There's hedgehogs in my garden
I only see them at night
sniffing and scuffling around
for worms, slugs and termites

They are such particular creatures
with their hardened spins on top
and very little downy fur underneath
they are rather lovely, sniffing underleaf

Those cute little snouts sniffing around
looking for creature that dwell underground
and when they are harassed at all
they do curl up into a tiny ball

I love the hedgehogs in my garden
they are such sweet little things
and when it's cold at night
I bring them warm milk and a bite
