Her
moon light shined off the irisis of her eyes,
creating the tides,
she brung in the waves
that once use to wash up upon your heart;
soaking up the sea foam
from within your veins,
the esquisite lining
around every tear drop
that had fallen into the ocean,
reached your soul;
they cried out, the pain,
the heart ache, the sorrow,
you felt it, you felt it all;
you then knew,
she was apart of you, again

You trail after me
like the tide
is pulled
and pushed by the moon.
Never mind the
broken and hollowed
bones that litter the
paths I walk.
You just
step around them.
And sometimes you will pick some up
and remind my shattered body
that it deserves to be whole.
I am no moon.
I am no light.
But this is me
hoping you won’t drown
and praying you won’t fall
when night darkens the path.
I’ll do my best
to be your moonlight.

Rules.

Don't call him first; if he calls don't answer right away.
Who made those stupid rules anyway?
They say men are all about hunting,
how will I do that when my desire is the only thing I'm struggling?

And don't kiss on the first date,
maybe hold hands but you gotta make him wait.
Well, I dare you to do it.
I dare you to look into his eyes and not sink into them.

And you can label me all you want,
you can call me easy to get,
but I'll never wonder what if?
that I can bet.

There must be a reason
for which clichés
became clichés.
Those words and the way they intertwine
must’ve resonated with so many people
as to wear them out and lose their meaning.

But, they have not lost anything
because words don’t decay;
they are infinite.
So, believe me when I say
that I don’t want to live another moment
without you.

Please listen, I’m telling the truth
when I whisper that my heart
has finally found a home with you,
and that you are the best thing
that’s ever belonged to me,
and that I’m jealous of you

half as much as the King is for His creation,
and believe me, that’s more than enough.
Please, understand that I believe
that clichés haven’t lost their depth.
So, when I say I would give you everything,
I mean it with all that I am.
