It’s a chain of events,
A cycle of sin.
Always staying hidden,
So we cannot win.
Shame has the upper hand,
Cloaked in secrecy.
A moment of pleasure,
******* was the fee.

It’s a shame to speak of
Things done in secret.
A convenient excuse
To hide how wicked
Things we’ve formerly done.
Past; but hidden still
From next generations
Stumbling the same hill.

Darkness will always flee
When the Light confronts.
Are we evading Truth,
Fearing their judgement?
But who hasn’t fallen?
Which ones have no sin?
We must walk in light to
Fellowship again.

You’ve left your fingerprints upon my heart:
Indelible,
and irrevocable.
And not only the prints
but the fingers too;
how they twist and toy with it.
And not just the fingers
but the hands as well,
and they grip and yank and give me hell.
And more than hands,
the arms that hug and hold it tight
unwilling to let it go, but always reaching for something more.
Ode to Autumn's cold embrace,
Held against a twisted flame.
Loosely blowing wisps of lace
Impossible to tame.

Your masterpiece, in hastened pace,
Is laden with admired fame;
Disguising true, untainted grace
Of nakedness to shame.

Its totally deceiving,
the tales of the meaning of life.
Grow up,
go to school,
get a job,
work hard,
play hard,
pay your taxes,
and especially die hard.
But still my brain is running slower
than my online connection speeds.
So slow.
I ended the day spent and tired,
and filled with wasted deeds.
Bitter?
Maybe.
But who faults a man
for defining himself through his actions.
Ogling at the universe,
and simply breathing.
Meditation keeps me sane.

As you can probably tell,
my strife continues effortlessly.
Sliding down an icy road
with no chains
and my brakes at full.
When the tree comes to slam me,
I'll be ready.
My indefatigable soul
Patiently waits for its mate.
The many years  gone by....
Would not at all matter to me.
Faces come and go,
Changes occur without a warning...
It could be now, or tomorrow,
It could be much much later.
At this point in my life,
My soul is not to be discouraged...
My soul cannot be disheartened.
So long as there's breath within me,
Patiently, it would wait for its mate....
My indefatigable soul.......

Do not stand at my grave and weep..
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star-shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry..
I am not there. I did not die.
Blue moon in heaven--
    no love to hold.
Even this warm
    summer night
        has turned cold.

Sometimes I wonder if you ever think of me and, if so,
How you manage to brush me from your thoughts
And dream of someone else (I know I never could).
Vagrant minds procure no solace but in love, and
Only in its fair requital. Alas...
Nothing’s ever meant so much to me.
No one’s ever occupied my mind for
Every passing moment of my empty days.
Translucent truths
are difficult to glimpse
when they're obscured
purposely.
The ignorance I've observed
is astonishing in its fatuity.
The obviosities
are abnormally
perceived by
amaurotic minds.
(To my sisters and brother)

I will always miss …

Our sunset ending quarrels

Our never-ending teases

Christmas’ shared carols

Warm hugs

Through sweet gazes

The sarcastic smiling faces

The growing-up races

Revenge taking chases

Greed over goodies to be hidden

In unpredictable places

And I will always miss …

Competitions and crazy bets

Singing hilarious duets

Of made-up songs in the shower

This innocence

Of our childish humor

Screamed from a room to another

That art of tricking eachother

To cleverly stay in control

Or wrestling over the remote control

And I will always miss …

Decades of shared history

Amplified joy and divided misery

Bursts of laughter on old tapes

Creatively imagined games

Of whirlpools in drapes

And goalkeeper leaps

Random costume parties

Daily role-play stories

Sega sagas from dusk to dawn

Alliances and conspiracies

Sisters, my lovely sisters

Wise, you have become

Loving wives, caring mothers

Soon, you will become

Make sure your kids relive

What we used to live

Their uncle will make you proud

Just like you fill him with pride

Brother, dear brother

I secretly looked up to you

As I grew older

I kept resembling you

It doesn’t matter

If you’re a little far

Brotherhood’s a matter

Of unbreakable bond

And I will always admire, respect, love and cherish …
Every single one of you
Written last month.
My brother lives in another country and my sisters will both get married next year
