Experience they say
Is the best teacher
Sometimes that's what it takes
For the message to reach us
But it's only gained
Through learning life's lessons
From infancy
Straight past adolescence

Thank God
For life's lessons
The struggles
And the blessings
All the things
He's enabled me to see
What I've taken from those lessons
Is what makes up the essence'
Of the person
That I chose to be

I could have been
A block hugger
Though I didn't chose to be
A murderer or a mugger
But neither one is me
I could have been most anything
That I chose to be
But it's life's lessons
That makes me what you see

Thank God
For life's lessons
The struggles
And the blessings
All the things
He's enabled me to see
What I've taken from those lessons
Is what makes up the essence'
Of the person
That I chose to be

There are ups and downs
That we all go through
Which impacts upon
The things we choose to do
But they're all a part
of life's many lessons
Illustrated by
Our struggles and our blessings

Life  sometimes isn’t fair
But no one seem to give a care
So I want you to be aware,
“I didn’t do it, I wasn’t there.”
Despite what certain people have to say
I have an alibi, okay?
And the truth I hope will set me free
From the charges that you’re trying to pin on me’

It’s like I told you once before
I didn’t ****, either or
And so I’m innocent for sure
So must I tell you anymore?
I’m demonstrating I have patience
Against those spurious allegations
But even patience can wear thin
You’re still trying to put me in!

I’m dealing with the stress and strife
Of facing twenty years to life
Away from my children and my wife
And that can cut you like a knife
Especially when they seem hell-bent
In ensuring that they don’t relent

So I will probably go to jail
Without the benefit of bail
And even on appeal I’ll fail
To hit the hammer on the nail
So as they lock me away
Counting the seconds everyday
I have this to say
Life isn’t fair anyway!

Like a needle in haystack
It’s very hard to find
Healthcare that addresses the needs
Of the deaf, the dumb or blind
Hope you’re not offended
By my use of paradigm
To try to make the simple point
I mean most of the time

Medicare is not enough
If you don’t have Medicaid
The amounts can be exorbitant
That are out-of-pocket paid
To your medical provider
Once the arrangement has been made
Makes you kind of glad
You’re still in the bed you laid

What is one supposes to do
When they’ve killed Obamacare?
And the present administration
Could care less how you fare
All that I can think of is
You had best prepare
For the consequences
Which are dire I must share

It’s a true conundrum
Of such major proportions
That I’m not even talking about
Where to get abortions
Instead I’m referring to
Despite your best precautions
Chronic health conditions that make
You go through contortions

Giuilani is like
A Pomeranian Dog
Barking loudly
From out of the fog
Of presidential lies
Like “no collusion”
Though it’s unwise
To arrive at that conclusion

He’s always been
A spotlight *****
And now he’s been cast
As Donald Trump’s flunky
Acting just like
An ***** grinder’s monkey
Because he’s an ***
Like the average donkey

In order to garner
The President’s trust
He can best be described
As obsequious
Doing his bidding
As we know he must
That’s why he’s worthy
Of our disgust

He looks like the Penguin
From a Batman story
And I mean that literally
There’s no allegory
I could use to describe
Outside of the laboratory
Of Frankenstein
That would be as hoary

Like being in prison
I had nothing but time
To examine the things
That were on my mind
When I didn’t know
Just what I would find
After going through life
Practically blind

I used the time
To carefully reflect
About certain things
I didn’t suspect
Things that I badly
Needed to correct
That otherwise might have
Gone on unchecked

I once was
A paranoid schizophrenic
Full of false beliefs
That made me inauthentic
To the point where others
Came to resent it
That’s breaking news
That I don’t want printed

Like being in prison
I counted the days
That I had remaining
To change my ways
If I could get passed
My usual malaise
I knew circumspection
Often time pays

It cut like
Pieces of glass
In my throat
Those words
Contained in a note
Left on the mantle place
That she wrote
And everything she said I can quote

It cut like pieces of glass
In my throat
Words she didn’t have
The nerve to emote
Things I know she knew
Would rock my boat
She left nothing to cling to
Or keep me afloat

It cut like
Pieces of glass
In my throat
Her words
Made me into
Her scapegoat
Someone who was
Merely a footnote

I can’t be
More graphic
Than that
She left me
In no time flat
And I feel used9
Just like an old doormat
And that's exactly where it’s at

Like stink on ****
Or a baby on a ***
What I also get
Is he refuses to quit
Because he won’t admit
That he’s not fit
Not one bit
Until his *** gets lit

Like stink on ****
Or a baby on a ***
Butter on a biscuit
A cut of beef as in brisket
We know that he’ll risk it
By relying on his wit
But that will not acquit
Him from the time he’s  gonna get

Like stink on ****
Or a baby on a ***
The accent on a Brit
What you see is what you get
It’s a comedy skit
The swamp and the pit
Unfortunately both fit
See he ain’t worth spit

Like stink on ****
Or a baby on a ***
A joint that’s lit
He’s as high as it gets
But he has tweet fits
And a thing for glitz
See he’s gonna get blitzed
Because of his trysts

In a world
Where ******* knew their place
And whites ruled
In every case
When adversity
Was rarely faced
Like the present
Could be erased

Oh, to return
To yesteryear
When whites didn’t
Have a care
And the others
Lived in fear
Wish those days
Would reappear?

Even though
They’re taking stock
Can they
Ever turn back the clock
To when
They had it all on lock
Or are
Their efforts to be mocked?

They appear
Stuck in the past
But they can all
Just kiss my ***
Cuz that time
Wasn’t made to last
And it moved by
Real fast

You can hitch
Your wagon to his star
And you’ll go down
Like William Barr
We don’t know
Who you are
Lindsey Graham
Or Billy Mahr

Recite talking points
Like Debin Nunez
Swim down a canal
Let’s say the Suez
You’re in a triangle
Ya heard? Burmudez
So all your efforts
Will be fruitless

Strange that
He still has apologist
Lining up all over
Right in our midst
Denying what must
Be called obvious
Makes me stop to wonder
Are they hobbyist?

You have to ask yourself
Are they blind?
Or have they gone
And lost their minds?
Defending such a
Blatant traitor
Someone who’s
A dyed in the wool hater

Lil’ Wayne
Has gone insane
He’s backingTrump
The black man’s bane
I know Wayne’s not
A human being
But I can’t believe
What I’m seeing

Lil’ Wayne
Has gone mad
He lost the street cred’
That he had
If it wasn’t so sick
It would be sad
To see him
Reaching out for dad

Lil’ Wayne
Just ain’t the same
And I don’t know
Who’s to blame
He backs Trump
Please explain
Hasn’t he caused us
Enough pain?

Lil’ Wayne
All up in the frame
Smiling with Trump
Like it’s a game
What it is
Is a crying shame
Guess that’s the price
He’s pays for fame

Lindsey Graham should be ashamed
For saying Trump’s unfairly blamed
In this inquiry, as he’s claimed
Though to him it’s all the same
Lindsey’s Trump’s favorite acolyte
Pretending everything’s alright
But what’s done in the dark of night
Will come out in the daylight

Linsey Graham’s now full of stuffing
See these days he doesn’t stand for nothing
When he criticized Trump, was he bluffing?
Like your average ragamuffin
Lindsey Graham once had some pride
Now he doesn’t, but you decide
Should he be reelected or denied
When good judgement is applied

Graham’s not who he used to be
And that’s plain enough to see
So if he’d get up off his knee
Maybe then he would be free
But Lindsey does like his golf
Ask Guiliani, as in Rudolph
Who has bitten more than he can chew off
So now we view him as *****-off

Lindsey Graham has gone crackers
Just the same as most Trump backers
And I guess that directly factors
In the thoughts of his detractors
He’s clearly not the senator
That he used to be before
An idiosyncrasy we can’t ignore
Let me stop now, although there's more

Lindsey, won’t give an inch
In saying, “ The president’s being lynched!’
While he knows that’s not square biz
Becsuse he knows what a lynching is
So why is he playing dumb
In South Carolina where he comes from
Over 150 black slaves were hung
From the tree branches on which they swung

What the president’s going through
Is not ******. As he knew
So he has no right to equate
Impeachment with the kind of hate
That my forebears sadly endured
And he can also rest assured
Trump would be screaming from the rafters
Calling on his fallen pastors

He’d defend the devil himself
By the Holy Book on his shelf
If it meant he wouldn’t be contested
Or otherwise politically molested
So he’ll be obsequious
To the man in whom he trusts
But he can’t believe in both
His position or his oath

He's become Trump’s sycophant
And he's as tiny as an ant
He's as sheepish as a lamb
I'm talking about Senator Lindsey Graham
McCain is rolling in his grave
Cuz he's become Donald Trump’s slave
If he has any sense of dignity
It becoming harder, and harder to see

Corey Lewandowski is your average
Lipless colorless savage
Who’s out to make some cabbage
Like that old familiar adage
As long as his contract is renewed
He doesn’t care who gets *******
Whether it’s an austistic six year old
I’m telling you that man is cold

And he’s so far up the ****
Of his mentor Donald Trump
That even on the campaign stump
All Trump had to say is jump
For him to never question why?
All he asked is, “Boss how high?”
And when Trump told him, ‘You’re fired!”
Even then he never tired

Now he’s on the TV screen
To be succinct, he’s obscene
Though Trump thinks he’s peachy keen
Even though he has no spleen
He’ll say whatever Trump finds pleasing
In or out of the campaign season
And he never has to have a reason
To double down on those he’s teasing

He has the public misdirected
With talk about who infected
The unfair system that he erected
The same one most of us rejected
See Lewandowski goes along
With no concept of right or wrong
Like a quisling
Caught up In the throng

The liquor I was drinking
Had me not thinking
And I said some things
I should not have said
Like the crazy ****
That came into my head
When I should have
Been silent instead

Liquor has been known
To alter the mind
It’s does crazy things
To people sometimes
So if I said anything unkind
Even though
I may have crossed the line
It wasn’t on purpose or by design

You’re probably saying
What I was displaying
Uses liquor as an excuse
To explain away
Certain things
That I brought into play
But I’m declaring a truce
Anyway

Blame it on the alcohol
Ain’t that what Jamie would say
So if I said kiss my ***
Ya need to give me a pass
And forgive me without delay

Liquor has been known
To alter the mind
It’s does crazy things
To people sometimes

Listen closely
So as not to miss it
If they come with a plot
By all means resist it
Nine times out of ten
Though probably unlisted
It’s government hatched
And also assisted

What don’t you get
They weren’t plotting ****
But isn’t that
The point of it
Though the fuse wasn’t lit
The bait did get bit
You have to admit
So in prison they sit

Hard to understand
If you even can
How they became
The Boogie Man
Or were entrapped
In the government’s plan
Now they’re doing time
That’s federal man

So just pledge allegiance
To the flag
Don’t let ‘em put you
In their trick bag
‘Cos life in prison
Can be a drag
Especially when you
Become a may tag

Little Rocket Man
Is getting out of hand
But Trump doesn’t understand
How in the world he can
Cuz Un said he had banned
Rocket launches and
That wasn’t their game plan
And Trump’s his biggest fan

But satellites don’t lie
They capture from the sky
What Un cannot deny
Something’s prepared to fly
And it’s been verified
But we’re not on standby
Cuz’ Trump can’t figure why
Un would even try

Trump will still insist
That it won’t end like this
Cuz their friendship is bliss
And it would sure be missed
If Trump’s forced to get ******
When they were in the midst
Why take an ugly twist
Trump hopes Un will resist

What should be very clear
Is the thing we need to fear
Un’s already nuclear
So we had best prepare
Cuz’ he may take us there
Though this could be a scare
We better say a prayer
Then get our ***** in gear

Her explanation
Best explains,
She’s living rent free
Inside of his brain
A mere distraction
That always remains
The motivator of
His outrageous claims

She’s been vetted
A thousand times
All they’ve come up with
Are imagined crimes
“Lock her up,”
His base always chimes.
She’d be rich
If they paid her in dimes

I guess we could have
Anticipated
Him calling for her
To be investigated
For spying he says
Kind of belated
They used to be friends
But now she’s hated

He’s talked in the past
About giving out pardons
But when it come to her
His attitude hardens
It’s like the war
Of the ancient Spartans
Not like a stroll
Through Tivoli Gardens

He’s locked inside a body
That doesn’t feel like home
With feminine tendencies
That he’s always known
How to sublimate
Until he was grown
Now it’s public knowledge
And he’s in his own zone

He’s locked inside a body
That doesn’t feel like home
Which was his little secret
But now his secret’s blown
He can no longer keep it
With him and him alone
Cos it’s already out there
Advertised and shown

He’s locked inside a body
That doesn’t feel like home
But who are we to judge him
Or to throw a stone
He has enough to deal with
Which he’s done all alone
And hopefully in time
Acceptance will have grown

Long live Scalia
Now that he’s dead
A Supreme Court Justice
Who’s gone on ahead
Though I disagreed
With the decisions I’ve read
Just for the moment
Let me put them to bed

I take pause
Before starting to vet
The country owes him
A hell of a debt
He served with distinction
And made many upset
Now is the time
To forgive and forget

What can I say
That hasn’t been said
Now that the man
Is clearly dead
Certainly not
That he made me see red
Because of his decisions
That I learned to dred

Some see his death
As Divine Intervention
One less conservative
For me to make mention
We’ve lost the bane
Of the Court’s dissention
And he didn’t go out
Receiving a pension

Ain’t it funny how
Every now and then
When you least expect it
An era comes to an end
And you find it passes by
Like a sudden wind
You discover down the road
Life’s twists and bends

Long live the king somebody said
But we were taken by surprise
When they found him dead
It was blasted on the radio
Or somewhere you read
And you remember where you were
When you heard it said

He wasn’t the first
To walk on the moon
But that program closed
Much too soon
Unexpectedly we found ourselves
At high noon
When the air was taken out
Of our balloons

Long live the king somebody said
But we were taken by surprise
When they found him dead
It was blasted on the radio
Or somewhere you read
And you remember where you were
When you heard it said

Then came the princess
Whom we all adored
Who touched us in places
Where memories are stored
She passed much too quickly
We were all in accord
From bad habits and a lifestyle
She could ill afford

Long live the king somebody said
But we were taken by surprise
When they found him dead
It was blasted on the radio
Or somewhere you read
And you remember where you were
When you heard it said

Before that we discovered
Across the pond
Someone who lived on the edge
Was tragically gone
Though it wasn’t unexpected
Her fans still morn
Though her musical legacy
Will live on

Long live the king somebody said
But we were taken by surprise
When they found him dead
It was blasted on the radio
Or somewhere you read
And you remember where you were
When you heard it said

Disco experienced
A terrible blow
When two of its icons
Passed on as you know
Each in their own way
Put on quite a show
And sorely will be missed
Just like 54

Long live the king somebody said
But we were taken by surprise
When they found him dead
It was blasted on the radio
Or somewhere you read
And you remember where you were
When you heard it said

Look around you
In any direction
Hear the screams
Of insurrection?
And even upon
Closer inspection
The anger that’s there
Avoids detection

And I suppose
That it bears a mention
Because they generally
Aren’t paying attention
To addressing our needs
Which causes dissension
See they never tried to use
An ounce of prevention

So they continue with
Their arrogance
And below the surface
You get the sense
That things have gotten
More intense
But they’re ignoring
The evidence

So the pressure cooker
Has already blown
And everybody but them
Seems to have known
Just how deep
The rabbit hole can go
Before we’re faced with
A complete overthrow

Every time I see you
You complain
If we talk about the weather
You mention the rain
You talk about the bad luck
That you've had
With you it's never good
It's always bad
And it's a habit
That I hope you'll kick
Like Sounds of Blackness
Be optimistic

Look to the sky
And hold your head up high
Time goes by so fast
Ya see this too will pass
So why pretend
The perdicament you're in
Is gonna last forever
Like things won't get no better

As a person thinketh
So are they
Only you can
Chase your blues away
Keep an open mind
Be positive
pessimists survive
But others live
There's no time
Like the present to begin
To give your life
A different kind of spin

Look to the sky
And hold your head up high
Time goes by so fast
Ya see this too will pass
So why pretend
The perdicament you're in
Is gonna last forever
Like things won't get no better

Changes are occuring
Everyday
Keep your head up
Wipe the tears away
You don't know
What tomorrow's gonna bring
That might give you joy
And make you sing

Look to the sky
And hold your head up high
Time goes by so fast
Ya see this too will pass
So why pretend
The perdicament you're in
Is gonna last forever
Like things won't get no better

If I accept him
As my Lord and Savior
Could you tell
By my behavior?
Would that give me
Some kind of waiver?
That endows me with
Special favor?

If I accept him
As my God
Would that not be
Kind of odd?
Or by definition
Flawed?
And would that not be
A tad too broad?

If I accept the trinity
Or claim that he
Is one of three
What would that then
Say of me?
When one has never
Equaled three
Nor does it fit mathematically

If Holy Mary is
The Mother of God
Instead of an oft repeated
Facade
Let her strike me down
With her awesome rod
Upon the ground
In which she trods

This is my true story
And it’s begging to be told
Once I was so distant
That it turned most people cold
The only one I cared about
Happened to be me
I was rapped up in myself
And that was plain to see

Lord I want to thank you
For giving me this day
And I want to thank you
For all you’ve sent my way
Lord I am so grateful
For what you’ve given me
I was self-absorbed
Before you set me free

People called me selfish
But that was just a word
My ego was out of control
In case you haven’t heard
To say I was conceited
Understates the case
I couldn’t pass a mirror
Without checking my face

Lord I want to thank you
For giving me this day
And I want to thank you
For all you’ve sent my way
Lord I am so grateful
For what you’ve given me
I was self-absorbed
Before you set me free

I’m a different person
Than I was yesterday
Lord I want to thank you
And I want to say
If you hadn’t rescued me
I’d probably still be lost
Out there on the avenue
Thinking I’m the boss

Lord I want to thank you
For giving me this day
And I want to thank you
For all you’ve sent my way
Lord I am so grateful
For what you’ve given me
I was self-absorbed
Before you set me free

No one would have ever guessed
That I could ever change
If you claimed that back then
They’d look at you so strange
But miracles do happen
They happen everyday
So don’t hold it against me
Because one came my way

Lord I want to thank you
For giving me this day
And I want to thank you
For all you’ve sent my way
Lord I am so grateful
For what you’ve given me
I was self-absorbed
Before you set me free

We’re losing
Patience
With Trump’s
Baseless allegations
About voter fraud
Help us oh Lord
To become of
One accord

We’re losing
Patience
With his
Complacence
And disregard
For the
United States
Of all nations

We’re losing
Patience
Though Biden
Has been gracious
In the face
Of Trump’s bodacious
Moves that
Weren’t efficacious

We’re losing
Patience
Because of
Strained relations
And all
That is fallacious
Or blatantly
Mendacious

I think it’s worth stating
Love’s about communicating
Through the trials and tribulations
Not manning battle stations
If we’re looking for a perk
We must put in the work
Then love will see us through
And reward me and you

Love’s not overrated
But it can be complicated
I’m so glad we waited
For the love anticipated
And let me also state
Cuz we can both relate
It’s been well worth the wait
Our love didn’t dissipate

Despite concerns and fears
Though at times there were some tears
Just the way that it appears
Love grew stronger through the years
See it really comes to this
The rewards outweigh the risks
As long as we’re not remiss
Love will offer us its bliss

What you also need to know
Is how deep it can go
When you reap the love you sow
There’s a certain afterglow
And whatever you put in
You can take back out again
And can even multiply
When you're reaching for the sky

If nothing else
“Love thy enemy
As thy self.”
And pray for those
Who persecute you
Because that’s the
Christian thing to do

Is he as close
As it may appear
And why is he that
Into Vadimir
It’s enough to
Give us a scare
If you’re paying attention
Or aware

Chances are
None to slim
That Putin doesn’t
Have the goods on him
Could it be
Some hotel trim?
Or the golden showers
Shared by them?

Whatever it is,
He acquiesces
To Putin’s wishes
Through
His excesses
Praising dictators
And the aggressive
Autocrats he always blesses

It’s not that big a jump
Between Machiavelli
And Donald Trump
Both were indifferent
To moral considerations
Both used tricks and lies
That tested people’s patience

It’s not that big a jump
Between Machiavelli
And Donald Trump
Political expediency
Lacking in morality
And both had a thing
For pluralities

It’s not that big a jump
Between Machiavelli
And Donald Trump
Both used extremely
Dishonest methods
And both were lacking
In basic ethics

It’s not that big a jump
Between Machiavelli
And Donald Trump
Both were cunning
And had no moral code
And history has shown
What that forebodes

Mad Dog Mattis must have
Caught distemper
He bit Donald Trump
Who began to whimper,
“The Mad Dog isn’t **** anyway,”
But that wasn’t what he was saying
Just the other day
When Mad Dog was thought to be  a-okay

Mad Dog Mattis Called
The Donald a bean sprout
For threatening American citizens
With going the military route
And taking a photo op
After prancing about
While the peaceful demonstrators
Washed the teargas out

Mad Dog Mattis called Trump
A clear and present danger
To all America stands for
And what’s even stranger
Trump held the Bible up as some kind of  prop,
Upside down and backwards
Cuz he don’t know when to stop
If you’re out there listening, please call a cop!

Mad Dog Mattis had to hold
His peace,
When he worked for Donald
To say the very least
But now he’s free
To unleash his savage beast
And let us know how he feels
When his anger is released.

I’d havta be
A dounce
To wanna see it again
Having seen it once
You and Britney
Locking lips
After y’all have already
Cashed in those chips

Madonna I’ll  try
To explain
Y’all left the station
On that train
To do it again
Would just be insane
And I’m simply tryin
To make it plain

It was shocking
Once upon a time
Since then many
Have copied your paradigm
To reenact it
Would be a crime
Like words out of
The mouth of a mime

Madonna please
Listen to me
You’re no longer a teenager
You’re in fact sixty-three
Though a rebel
You might always be
Age has caught up with you
Don’t cha seee

What can we attribute
To his magical thinkin’?
We know that
He hates alcohol
So I don’t think he’s drinkin’
What makes him think
The virus will disappear,
Like magic just vanish in the thin air?

Could it be
That he’s
A freestyle juvenile
Or some one who’s
Simply put delusional
I haven’t come to any
Conclusion now
Other than magical thinkin’ anyhow

Would that we could
Just wish it away
But I fear that Covid’s
Here to stay
There are safety rules
We can obey
Like wearing masks
And stay a safe distance away

But he refuses to
Put on a mask
It’s pointless for us
To even ask
He’s just not up
To the task
In ignorance
He'd much rather bask

To make America great again
Presupposes it isn’t when
Suggesting it’s not could offend
Those who think it is (amen!)
They pillory Hillary though her goal
Is only to make America whole
It’s fragmented now I’ve been told
As ever increasingly hearts are cold

Though some might think it’s a tad rad
To say America’s not doing that bad
Let’s count our blessing and be glad
That we have the President that we have
He single handedly brought us back
From a damaged economy that’s a fact
Although he is constantly under attack
That’s probably due to him being black

How can greatness come from a man
Who walks around with a sprayed on tan
And says he can do what only God can
Without even having to hatch a plan
To lots of people he makes perfect sense
But it’s usually at their intellect’s expense
Although it will all come out in the rinse
Some of ‘em seem to be so intense

Make America great Again
And bring this reign to an end
Look at all the time we spend
Trying real hard to comprehend
The days are short, the nights are long
What the hell is going on
How come some just go along
When even they know that it’s wrong

Make America great again
A land of laws, and not of men
Like only we the people can
Unlike a Twitter feed on send
It’s a catch-phrase that they state
To wrap around their brand of hate
For others they deem second rate
And find it hard to relate

Make America great again
Don’t postulate or just pretend
What’s the message that would send
To friends or foes or next of kin
It can’t be talked into existence
Despite a proclivity for insistence
Which will meet with stark resistence
By people living on mere subsistence

Make America great again
Cuz what we now do is pretend
The immigrants we apprehend
Are animals to be caged when
We lose sight of where they’ve been
Which is like a kick in the shin
And it doesn’t matter what’s the spin
Nor can you say that it’s built in

Our existence incites them when
They want to make things right again
By making America white they can
Recapture all they had back then
When the people they despised
Were separated from their national ties
And were either enslaved or marginalized
Then swatted down like a pack of flies

Is it that hard for you to see?
Why they fear people who look like me
People they once hung from a tree
But were able to withstand their treachery
Soon they’ll be among the minority
In this homeland, of the free
So they’re afraid of what might be
When others hold the unlocking key

Lets make America great again
Appears to be a synonym
For making it white yet they pretend
That it’s not when they can
But what they want is hegemony
Over everyone else that they see
Who are yellow, brown or black like me
But they can’t defy their destiny

The Bible said it hard and fast
One day the first will be the last
Now it appears the dye’s been cast
But they’re still living in the past
They want back those Halycyon days
When we indulged their errant ways
Before we married off the gays
Though nothing like that permanently stays

Mama Handkerchief Head
Has said what she said
And somewhere I read
About her career being dead
She’s like urban blight
So that serves her right
But she’s not uptight
To our enemy’s delight

Mama Handkershief Head
Makes us see red
Once she gets out of bed
She just forges ahead
With her diatribe
All that hand bone jive
Trying hard to survive
But she hasn’t arrived

Mama Handkerchief Head
Is obviously fed
The things that she’s said
Like Black History’s dead
Or according to she
If it’s not it should be
But we see what we see
Anything for a fee

Mama Handkerchief Head
Is like a bladeless sled
Or a balloon full of lead
Going full steam ahead
Don’t take this as a slam
But she don’t give a ****
She’s  a Fox News country ham

Like leopards can’t change their skin
The enemies within
Won’t twist won’t turn or bend
Like foes or erstwhile friends
And no matter what’s at stake
They won’t relent for heaven’s sake
Their behavior is very strange
Because rules are often changed

Like elephants never forget
It might be to their regret
That they’re making everyone upset
By holding on to their threat
Is it worth the sacrifice
For them to continue to roll the dice
And not take a fool’s advice?
At least give us half a slice

Like the fox is supposed to be sly
That can’t always get them by
When the stakes are extra high
Some foxes learn to comply
Others continue to defy
At the risk that they might die
And we have to question why
They continue to play the bad guy?

Like Cheshire cats smile a lot
When placed on the spot
Some get ******* in a knot
And others become overwrought
Like birds of feather stick together
No matter what the weather
I wonder if they’ll change course ever?
Or is it that they’re not that clever

Clearly the man
Is in a lurch
He now demands
We go to church
Straight away from
White House perch
In defiance to
The latest research

The nation’s death rate
Keeps on rising
Yet the President
Keeps criticizing
The nation’s governors
Without realizing
The safety plans
That they’re devising

Christians Jews and
Muslims all know
They can pray at home
Although, in the mosque
It’s shoulder to shoulder
And toe to toe
Which doesn’t allow
For social distancing yo

I wonder what on earth
Provoked his decision?
Was it politics or
His new found religion
The former rather than the latter
I envision
He campaigns
With a sense of derision

Many many, people
He’s fond of saying
When questioned about
The things he’s okaying
But how many are many
I’d like to know
And how deep do those numbers
Actually go

Many,many people
Like that justifies
His alternate facts
Or outright lies
Just because some say it
Doesn’t make it true
How many are there
I wish I knew

Many, many people
Is an alibi
For his outrageous positions
When questioned why
Because of a belief
Like his argument's strong
Whether his assertions
Are right or wrong

Many, many people
Like saying case closed
Because of some numbers
Nobody knows
Impressive to some
I would suppose
But not to me
And I hope it shows

Trump would like us to take
A poisoned Kool Aid drink
Because many people think
Just like many people don’t
By giving him their support
They’re selling themselves short
No matter how we retort
To him it’s merely a sport

While telling his many lies
He never identifies
Who those many people are
That he’s noted thus far
And it’s really scary
Because he derives his theory
From the worldwide internet
Which should make us all upset

Now he’s praising Putin
Who’s in Crimea shooting
And confiscating land
Because he’s out of hand
But Donald’s busy dissin’
Our President and dismissing
Him as incompetent
Like he’s been where he went

Making crucial decisions
Requires the kind of precison
That the Donald lacks
These are just the facts
But his ego is such
That he thinks too much
Of his inherent ability
Because he’s much too blind to see

I say march on
To Talladega
Why try to make
The issue mega
Cuz it ain’t about
His inauguration
It’s about respect
For our nation

Just becuz
He may be hated
Why should the office
Be underrated
That’s not to say
That I’m elated
Becuz the band
Participated

Despite protests
You can place your bets
We’re gonna see
Those Rockettes
Dancing and
Kicking their heels
No matter how bad
Inside it feels

Then there’s
The Mormon Tabernacle Choir
Who will perform
As they aspire
But from the guest list
We can see
They’re lacking
In celebrity

Maria
Came and went
But there was little
Sentiment
For those
Who lost their lives
While their memories
Survives

Initially the count
Was low
Though in their hearts
They had to know
What those statistics
Failed to show
After such a devastating
Blow

Now that the truth
Is finally out
And its removed
The shadow of doubt
About the effectiveness
He liked to tout
That FEMA supposedly
Brought about

No words of consolation
Have come
From the mouth
Of the deaf, blind and dump
President voted in
By some
No empathy
His heart is numb

Mark Meadows do you revel
In the fact
That you served the devil
At the highest level?
Are you now admitting
To committing
Acts of sedition
From that lofty position?

Will Congress be stiffed?
Or is it a myth
That you’ll take the Fifth
Like a treasured gift?
When it’s do or die
Will you simply lie
So as not to comply?
Let me ask you why?

Were you concussed
Or was it power lust
‘Made you betray our trust?
You have a lot of crust
So tell us what’s the deal
Or how you now feel?
Only keep it real
About the Big Steal

Not to be abrupt
I hate to interrupt
Are you just corrupt?
What’s your construct?
How do you justify
They way that you comply
Do you just deny
That Sweet Bye and Bye?

Mankind in general
Had better beware
Of what he’s hiding
Underneath his hair
Three revealed numbers
You’ll no doubt find there
The three sixes prophesized
Which should give you a scare

The Evangelicals
Tend to look the other way
While the devil’s in
The White House busy at play
They’re awaiting the Rapture
Which they call, Judgement Day
Or the end of times
As some others say

It’s those numbers
That he’s trying to hide
Not just the bald spot
That he has denied
It’s so obvious
Once logic’s applied
He’s the devil incarnate
But I’ll let you decide

The devil has the appearance
Of one who succeeds
But he must be judged
By his dastardly deeds
I hope I’m not getting
Too much in the weeds
But it’s upon the gullible
That he often feeds

Mass ****** in a synagogue
Committed by an ideologue
Guess he went whole hog
Blinded by the fog
The fog of racial hatred
Released inside those clay bricks
As part of the matrix
So senseless and so baseless

And the man’s sick battle cry
Was, “All Jews must die!”
Which begs the question why?
Didn’t Nazis give that a try?
How did he figure?
And what was his trigger?
Was his hatred so much bigger?
Than the lives of Jews and ******?

And some insist having a gun
Might serve to stop someone
Who wants to ****** just for fun
And is committed to getting it done
But that’s hoping and wishing
An empty proposition
If that person’s on a mission
And killing’s their sole ambition

Those who fan the flames,
And we all know their names,
Play those hatred games
Despite contrary claims
See the proof is in the pudding
They say things that they shouldn’t
Which other people wouldn’t
And in good conscience couldn’t

Smoke a blunt?
Somebody's gonna!
Though it ain’t
The same marijuana
That they smoked
Back in the day
So what’s inside of it anyway?
Truthfully, it’s hard to say

It might be laced with
Fentanyl
Until you smoked it
How could you tell?
Ya see, it’s properties
Don’t ring a bell
So their affects
Could be hell

And now they rush
To legalize
For the dollars
I’d surmise
Whether, or not
That move is wise
See those who object
Are criticized

Yet all the evidence
Isn’t in
And that alone
Speaks to the sin
The wise won’t go
But fools rush in
So John Q Public
Takes it on the chin

Melania chose to share
That she really doesn’t care
As if we were unaware
And couldn’t tell by her icy stare
As a way of raising her voice
She made a poor fashion choice
So their base could clap and rejoice
At the children whose eyes were moist

Melania chose to share
She had ample time to prepare
See she didn’t have to go there
But decided to take to the air
Just so she could vex us
Or in order for her to perplex us
She flew down to Texas
In time for the children’s breakfast

Melania chose to share
That her thinking wasn’t all there
Though she usually has such a flare
For the clothes that she chooses to wear
In temperature of eighty-one degrees
She wore a jacket that went down to her knees
All this to shoot the breeze
There’s an expression, ‘****** please!”

Melania chose to share
But nobody shed a tear
Despite the bad atmosphere
That exists in their foster care
So why didn’t she just stay home
In full view of the Capitol dome
Or vacation somewhere in Rome
The answer will remain unknown

They were men of conviction
But one of ‘em wound up dead
When he refused to obey
What the lawman said
Stand down was the order,
“I’m placing you under arrest”
Captured on a tape recorder
So no one could contest

Members of a militia
Hold up in Oregon
Who were on a mission
And the thought never dawned
Their stand-off couldn’t last forever
Though they thought it could
But they should have know better
Than to think they’d be understood

They were men of conviction
Taking matters in their own hands
But you could have made a prediction
They wouldn’t achieve their plans

They were men of conviction
Fighting the government
Ignoring all restrictions
Because they were hell-bent
On getting their point across
And they weren’t about to relent
Unless their cause was won or lost
Was the message they hoped was sent

These were men of conviction
At least they said they were
Facing eminent eviction
But that thought didn’t occur
They were prepared to die
If it came down to that
But you have to ask yourself why
Would they take it to the mat

They were men of conviction
Taking matters in their own hands
But you could have made a prediction
They wouldn’t achieve their plans

Caught at a traffic stop
They were placed under arrest
Told to let their weapons drop
Only one of ‘em did contest
And so he wound up dead
With a bullet wound in his chest
For ignoring what the lawman said
Who prevailed nevertheless

They were men of conviction
Taking matters in their own hands
But you could have made a prediction
They wouldn’t achieve their plans

You can’t believe anything
You read or see,
Says a president that wants us
To believe in only he
He’s a master of deflection
Some of you might agree
Unless you drank his Kool Aid
And believe in his theory

He’s a merchant of deception
And it’s so obvious
We forget about God
When it’s in him we place our trust
But one day he’ll be gone
When he returns to dust
Proving that he was only human
Just like the rest of us

He’s driven by his greed
And that’s no mystery
All we have to do
Is check out his history
Then there’s no need to ask
Why would he do this to me?
He’s a world class narcissist
Which is plain enough to see

He’s merchant of deception
Yessuh, yes indeed
Though beloved by his base
Who just don’t seem to take heed
To the damage that he’s doing
While continuing to succeed
Doing what he does
To satisfy his greater need

Mexico hasn’t
Heeded his call,
But he’s still insistent,
On that **** wall
He’s presently seeking
8.6 billion y’all
Or our southern border
Can’t help but fall

We the taxpayers
Will be stuck
With the bill
But he’s not deterred
Even still
With building a wall
That Congress
Will ****

He made a promise
To his loyal base
Even though
The wall is a total waste
The reality of which
He has yet to face
And he probably won’t
In any case

So we the people
Will have to resist
No matter how much
He might insist
On its necessity
And ***** his fist
Either we do
Or we’ll be remiss
