Clearly the man
Is in a lurch
He now demands
We go to church
Straight away from
White House perch
In defiance to
The latest research

The nation’s death rate
Keeps on rising
Yet the President
Keeps criticizing
The nation’s governors
Without realizing
The safety plans
That they’re devising

Christians Jews and
Muslims all know
They can pray at home
Although, in the mosque
It’s shoulder to shoulder
And toe to toe
Which doesn’t allow
For social distancing yo

I wonder what on earth
Provoked his decision?
Was it politics or
His new found religion
The former rather than the latter
I envision
He campaigns
With a sense of derision
