Last minute has come

I am thinking here again

Why do I do this?

Darkness
Cats and Sushi Sep 2013
Galileo saw darkness when he looked up, you saw darkness too.

Galileo saw a shine in the darkened out sky, you saw it too.

you asked Galileo, what is that shine?, Galileo said, its you.

Don't ever forget that where darkness comes, you can always be the light, for that is what life is and that is why it always feels like a fight.

Busy
Cats and Sushi Sep 2013
The peephole was across from the study lounge,
As I stayed awake, the silhouette of light from your pacing body was bouncing back and fourth like a pair of anxious eyes under my door.

Back and forth, Back and forth.
I was hypnotized, the beam was tunneling your thoughts into my mind.

Suddenly.

I was asking are you okay? You said. "I'm just thinking".

"I'm just thinking", meant I was just thinking.

I was crazy, no you were crazy.

No, we were both crazy.

Busy minds, busy thoughts, pacing back and forth,
Busy minds, busy thoughts, a friendship had came forth.

Hungry
Cats and Sushi Aug 2013
Today I went down to my Cafeteria,
As I approached I was filled with hysteria,

I saw a girl limping to the same place,
Looking at the floor as if it were a reflection of her face.

She was walking at a very slow rate,
I thought this would be a way to make a friend by fate,

I lunged for the handle to hold open the door.
I even looked  over and smiled some more.

She looked at me and we met eyes,
I expected a smile in return, I saw nothing but demise.

As she walked away i started to wonder,
What happened to this girl, why she was so sundered?

I hate the people that hurt her so bad,
That when a stranger is nice, there is no reason to be glad.

I hope one day she can smile some more,
Rather than walking around staring at the floor.

Redemption
Cats and Sushi Aug 2013
Depression has shackles but my heart has the key, moving around is tough when your evil thoughts move free.

Well venture down south and feel the deep beat, Go on and sit in your front row seat.

Listen to the rhythm, listen to the bass, look where your heart is, there is a reason that’s the place.

It’s the home of life and the treasure of emotions, it pumps your blood out as if it were the wave of your ocean.

Today I am happy and to today I am cleansed, just watch what will happen when you instead treat your heart as your friend.

The author of me
Cats and Sushi Aug 2013
Her beauty is warm, but her heart is far warmer.

She is my author and I am her performer.

She writes my tale with her quill and ink,

I’m watching anxiously and cannot blink.

Shifting Sheet
Cats and Sushi Oct 2013
This sheet is so light,
Yet it feels so heavy.

Life calls,
but this sheet lets it ring and ring.
and wring and wring.

It chokes me with comfort and warmth,
and fills my head with excuses.

Why leave something so secure and wander in that jungle we call life?

This sheet is so light ,
but its the devil on my shoulder.
and truly is as heavy as a boulder.

Sore from the past
Cats and Sushi Sep 2013
You tell me raise my hands and arms,
Praise the lord, for he can save me.

But; Limply they hang , wrists cocked down.
I cannot lift my arms for I am sore from the past.

You say, warmth is in sky!
but gravity pulls the warm blood to my dormant fingers. The comfort is far more familiar.
As the blood gathers in the tips that once held yours, I realize I will never move them.

You told me; God doesn't approve of our love, you told me, God said I'm not the one.

You expect me to raise my arms up to the so called God that took my circulation, my heart, and, soul?

Drop me in water, examine if my arms move.

Sinking.

         Sinking..

                       Sinking...

Will you continue watch me drown to cover the truth you've use'd your religion, you used OUR God, as an excuse to no longer love me?

Glass blown hourglass
Cats and Sushi Oct 2013
I see nothing but your blank stare, so I try to touch the glass that divides  us,

My fingers fall short.

I let out a yelp and hope you can hear me.

Not even a motion.

Not even emotion.

Its helplessness at its finest hour, I feel the heavy weight on my chest, and my throat closing up.

What is glass but melted sand?

This hourglass is all glass, the sand has become its captor.

Time stays frozen. While I stay helpless.

Hello poetry
Cats and Sushi Apr 2014
Poetry is my blank paged bible, my desolate scripture, my calligraphic beckon, my feather-inked-tip to empower the thoughts that run.

The pressure, this monster that builds inside me only fades to release.
I can't let this bad wolf grow, the beast needs to be sown, into the fibers of these pages, advice spoken from the wisest of the sages.

This literature, this free world, rids me from my worries and silences the flurry, that spins and rages inside of my heart and soul. Silences the whispering foes. I only wonder why I let it go.

Hello Poetry, I need you.

Love and Pain
Cats and Sushi Sep 2013
Have you felt the pain of a thousand knives down your heart and down your spine?

Have you felt it? Because  I've felt it.

As you lay there paralyzed, thinking about her calm blue eyes, you know you'd do it again.

Shes is much like the sun, warm on your skin, deeply penetrating in.
Looking in to the light, so painfully bright.

Can't look away, cant say what you need to say.
You dig in your mind, but once you've found it you've already gone blind.

You long to see her again, but you cannot physically see. So you reach out your hands to feel the warmth of her cheek.

Her skin is so soft, you wish you could lay lips upon, her jawline so perfect you rest your thumbs on.

Your 8 remaining fingers are tangled in the back of her hair, your brains saying let go but your heart says don't you dare.

The warmth of her nose rests on the side of mine as our lips are perfectly intertwined,
our breathing gets heavy, our hearts pounding like a Chevy.

When suddenly shes gone.

Your hands, fingers and thumbs hold nothing but air, you feel no softness of her hair.

You feel your self sinking, down from the sky, Is this it? Have you died?

Your feet hang so limp and in defeat,
after a silent fall
your feet finally touch the cold concrete,

You ******* down to your weakened knees, for the cost of love is the biggest fee.

You lay there paralyzed with a thousand knives in your heart and down your spine.

Would you do it again?
