Corrupt Me
Carmen Galore Feb 2014
Come interrupt me

And fill my soul

With your own words

As I am not able

To find

My own

Teach me

Your language

Soft and slowly

So there will be

More of you

More of me

More of us

Be my poetry

I’ll be your poem.

Nine-(19)-teen
Carmen Galore Feb 2014
My arteries have been injected with confusion
Nine-teen years old,
Snorted 19 capsules of I don't know the name,
What is my name anyway?

Capsules worth of
The forgotten name
Jigsaw puzzles solved in blood

These masked warriors,
My teeth have been
Falling out in my dreams
And it's the death of a lover

I would like to see
The death
Of my past lovers

I have injected your tongue
In my ear and all that I hear
Is the peaceful, sweet, white noise

This is not pretty,
And neither am I
When I have got powder
That shifts through my veins.

Roses & Poetry
Carmen Galore Feb 2014
I would write

Poetry for you

You would draw

Beautiful roses for me

I’m still writing

Why won’t you draw for me?

Draw for me

Draw beautiful white

Roses for me

(You always said the color white matched my pure heart)

Draw for me

Like you always

Used to do.

You and I
Carmen Galore Feb 2014
Finding ourselves within each other

We are the experiments of our own parents

Young, wild, love

The indifferent and the intimate

Between how I see you

And how you see me

What is keeping you from me?

What is keeping me from you?

You are God’s own creation of a mirror

Created only for me

The you of you is purely you.

The Past
Carmen Galore Aug 2021
Burning in flames,
Drowning under water;

You started the biggest wildfire,
Smoke lit up the sky - but the flames didn’t last;
Your words flow as gentle rivers,
For this I listen eager - but your sound has drowned.

Guardian Angel, Forever
Carmen Galore Sep 2019
Winter was difficult,
Then Spring happened,
And now Summer is here,

But your body is lying still,
While your soul roams around,
Like white dust.
To be continued.
