A little promiscuous thought.
Bubbling to the surface of your mind
like molten rock from earths core,
It rises
rises
rises
rises
until it reaches the brim
Then without any warning
It erupts, and destroys everything.
The ashy residue comes raining down
cloaking the once green valley with blackness
the melted rock moving like molasses down the hill
turning everything that once was
into nothingness.
After the disaster seems over,
Things will regrow from the madness
Just waiting for the next eruption.
Just need some way
to control my volcano.

Pressure building up
Everything getting heavy
Can’t hold on much longer
Soon, it must rain
My cloud has become full
Filled with doubt
Other clouds around
Frolicking freely
Not a care in the world
For them, its blue skies and clear eyes
Why can’t I be like that?
Let all my tensions go
There’s got to be a way out of this
Some way to empty the negative
Longing for that one day
When I may spill my rain
Seems pointless to try
I am that one black cloud in a blue sky
Someone just give me the answer
Tell me how to let it rain
