At least some will say: jolly good fun,
When civilisation crumbles, comes undone,
Enraged fish, a horrible toxic dish,
Who would have imagined, laughable,
That we could poison an ocean; truly!
But we will do just that; so very soon,
This ***** bites, consumers shall say,
Leaving the tills, oh, have a nice day,
This ***** bites back, nature cackles,
Unwary fools, shredding on her hackles,
And all will pay, every single one of us,
Protest all you like, march: kick up a fuss.
But you who ruined the sea, polluted the air,
Oh not me, you cry, voice filled with despair,
Yes you, ****** the land for all she’s worth,
Stinking parasites despoiling green Earth.
And when at last, we are all but done,
Through hazy smog, viewing a setting sun,
At least some will say: jolly good fun.

Written on a depressing bad day, drugged with cold medicine, congested, aching and tired. Not how I really feel, before anybody has a bash, I adore the beauty of humanity, especially creative folk like us, but I abhor the thoughtless fools who rule with such carelessness. This is one of two poems, the second is much harsher not for public consumption, posted only on request.
How simple is a kiss
To just touch another with your lips
How powerful it can be
When stolen or fought for and given freely
Can you honestly look them in the eyes?
And say that you don't see pain hidden inside.
Glass has been shattered from previous years before
Hearts torn apart, left with nothing more

Falling down stairs and broken bones
Being afraid 'cause they're  alone
Building their barriers for you to tear them down

But look them in the eyes and tell them it'll be alright
You don't have to know the unexplained to care
They won't be forgotten anymore

They're so ashamed even though they couldn't help it
They blamed themselves said they weren't worth it
But who are you to know what happened
Who are you to say it was nothing

Take their hand show them love
Make them understand they're worth something

Look them in the eyes
And tell them it'll be alright
Tell them that you care
Even if you don't know
The unexplained
They won't be forgotten
Anymore

They’ve been through so much more
Then you could even imagine
More than their hearts will tell
More than what is in their eyes
More than all those nights
They cried themselves to sleep
But they’re not broken

Look them in the eyes tell them it'll be alright
They won't be forgotten
Anymore

It was an unexpected wind
that carried you in
a golden sun of love
blazed high the sky
bonfire of winter, raven nights
when you glowed breathless
as moon and stars

I never planned to drop out of high school
but I never planned on wanting to **** myself either
so that’s just how it goes

And now I’m in college a year early
and I’m watching everyone around me getting into
serious relationships and having babies
and actually graduating with full scholarships to real universities
and moving in together like real grown people starting real lives

and here I am still missing you
still going to counseling every week
and failing my second semester worse than the first

here I am having to consider if going to a
mental hospital for 6 months is really the only thing ive got left

my mother says when I get out I could really start my life
you know, have real relationships
and not do drugs or have promiscuous ***
but what does she really even know about that

am I about to find out why the caged bird sings?

I turn eighteen in a little over 7 months
and I really don’t want to spend the time leading up to that
having a prescribed time to eat
and take my medication
and when to go to sleep

this isn’t how life is supposed to be

people say it isn’t easy
but killing yourself is seen as cowardly

well, we didn’t even have a choice of whether we wanted life or not
we were just put here because we won the race

so don’t talk to me about cowardice

Some of us learn the first time
And some learn by frequent repetition
So what I would like to find
Are more tolerant participants
That are willing to be consistent
When conversing with a mind
That is needing patient assistance
And with a little extra time
We can eliminate resistance
And as one, realign
With our unified mission
there was a little mouse a little robin hood
robbing from the rich and giving to the good
with his little bow and his funny suit
robbing from the rich he would took there loot
with the naughty sheriff always on his trail
trying to catch the mouse and send him straight to jail
hiding in the forest hiding out of sight
coming out again when the time was right
people they all loved him to them he was a king
money he would give them and happiness would bring
robbing from the rich with a bounty on his head
didnt matter how they caught either live or dead
but they never caught him he always got away
the legend of this hero is still there to this day
